Future to Past The shoreline shines As I walk this line Sand seeming to melt from behind Sun starting to shine But I pay no attention to it Or where I am this day But im thinking of how I got to this place I have never been So beautiful I heard Thats what you told me so I walk the shoreline On This beach with shame Because of patience that lost its touch I didnt wait for Now walking this beach I will never know the beauty it holds I thought I was alone that day The shade of no one near But a feeling appeared on my shoreline It had traveled back to me like a message in a bottle Reading love that passed But something reacted You were back your touch your presence I looked all around The shoreline dancing grasses slowly pancing Peace was never built on our lives But in a place with no name Your peace is carried on As I wrote it in grains of sand Knowing where I belong in this place with no name It takes me for who I am Mistakes I made that made a stand to burn me down

Comparing Robert Frost and Parkway Drive Each of their work has a close comparison of rhythm. The flow of words in their lyics/words come together very well. Each describe their song/poem very well in a special way that adds attention.

Carrion By Parkway Drive Carrion In a moment I'm lost, dying the inside Her eyes take me away Tear me apart from the inside out Dead eyes speak in volumes but our lips refuse to move Could this ever be the last time, the final time that we see this through? Give me the strength to return the breath you've stolen Give me the means to reset her heart I've broken again Reflection built upon sorrow We're walking the darkest roads within chest carved with regret In a moment I'm lost, dying from the inside Her eyes take me away Tear apart from the inside out My love I left, my heart I left With a promise to return A promise to return | The Road not Taken By Robert Frost Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that, the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

(Free Verse) Free as the wind I walk this road ready to start life It flows like a river Never runs dry Its long like cycle It never ends Until i grow tired Ready to give in To the next life | (End Rhyme) I saw the massive tide It caught my eye As i walked by Passing the time My life went to lie Now ready to fly With this ending rhyme

Poetry Poker Poem Cat's Velvet The Cat's Prowl with Glory's storm looking for delirious velvet. With dust and steam the horizonal opens up leaping aroma has its birth Its deluge is quiet but dreadful in its dark ceremony For this war to begin its content slipper with rain but the prowl remain

Your Guardian My world white and grey I watched it sway away. But you came to stay bring the one color blue without the grey It was the first for my paradise in my world of white and grey You began showing me a new way Follow the rainbow you said so I went It brought me to my knees as you did For your beauty was without a start until I looked at your heart Looking away from my world of white and grey The rainbow began to grow like flowers under snow This is when you showed me the way A way that turned my world away You said look at my heart it is your to have So precious a gift it’s a key to have A key to heaven a dream to have With your heart you took me away above skies grey To a place called heaven you knew the way With a rainbow of love the path was clear Without fear the end was near As I took my last steps and hit streets of gold You were no longer there All along you were an angel with your blonde hair and green eyes. I was so surprised I cried because you were a paradise that would not die. I still had your heart and always will With my world gone but beauty standing still I was missing you Dying inside I knew what I must do I would be the guardian you always knew Guarding the beauty you represent Until I make my final decent

Impossible to Find Over and over again I’ve been told Of a love so strong It will never fold Impossible to find It may seem Maybe we’re just blind Living in dream Or maybe reality’s harsh And a love like this is false Please do not think of this You may lose your pulse A life without this unconditional love Is it a life worth living? And if no one is there to receive Is there a point in giving? Give away your heart The one thing true and pure Once it’s gone you won’t be pressured to find love; it will no longer allure When love becomes dead How does the mind go on? Can someone function right? Or is it all really gone?
