S: Los Angeles November 2010
1: Sunday November 7, 2010 We ate breakfast at the hotel again, and loaded up the car to head to Los Angeles. We made a stop in Carlsbad to visit with Kaye’s aunt and uncle. We met them at the Village Kitchen and Pie Shoppe. Jerrard and I split a cinnamon roll – it was wonderful! We got on the road again and made out way to LA. Our first stop was on Rodeo Drive. It's surprisingly very shot – only about 2-3 blocks long. It's definitely not missing any major shops. Jerrard tried to buy his Curtis & Co. watch, but the watch shop was closed. We walked down Rodeo and back up Beverly Blvd. Beverly Blvd housed the “normal” shops like Gap, Victoria Secrets, etc. We drove thru Beverly Hills and saw some beautiful houses, but it was the last of the “nice” LA. Sunset Blvd. was very dirty. We drove in front of the Kodak and Chinese Theater. Our lunch stop was at the In & Out Burger. We continued onto the Santa Monica Pier. It was surprisingly cold on the pier. We then headed to find out hotel and freshen up before the Laker's game. Jerrard and I went to the game while Kaye and JR went out to eat for her birthday. We walked to the hotel after the game and called it a night.
