13: August 5-7, 2011 We went to Grand Haven, MI with Grandma and Grandpa so they could attend a wedding. The hotel was fancy. Lydia was acting sick so we took her to the emergency room in Traverse City. She was feeling better before we even left the hospital.
15: August 8-12, 2011 We rented a cabin at Mac's Landing on Arbutus lake, south of Traverse City. The cabin was nice and the lake was clean and shallow, perfect for Lydia.
17: One evening we went to a fair. There were rides and animals, and we all shared an elephant ear.
18: This slider at Don's Drive-In was Lydia's first hamburger ever. | Mac's Landing has a fun little playground!
19: We saw Dad's sea lamprey sculpture in Sutton's Bay. We went for a walk along the water at Mission Point. (On Mission peninsula, north of Traverse City)

61: JUNE 2012 | We went to a fair in the Pioneer High School parking lot. Lydia especially loves merry-go-rounds. | We went to the hot air balloon festival in Howell with Grandma and Grandpa. Lydia opened birthday presents. Her favorite was a fire engine with people to ride in it.
62: We had a pizza party on Lydia's birthday. Auntie Tara, Uncle Chris, and Ryan came, and Uncle Jon brought his foster kids Jacob, Cobi, and Phoenix. Dad set up a fun activity with dry ice bubbles. Mom made water tower ice cream treats.
63: June 26, 2012 Two years old with her magnolia tree | Lydia's birthday was on the same day as Cousin Andy and Amanda's wedding.
