FC: Meredith Family 2005-2011
 Joseph Smith Tribute 2005
Holy Jim Falls 2005 | We have great family memories hiking Holy Jim Falls every year at Thanksgiving. We go while the turkey is cooking and it is an enjoyable time to enjoy nature and sing songs. Usually Tiffany leads in singing songs like "Mormon Girl," "The Princess Pat" and other girls camp favorites. This year there was a log in the way of the road so all the girls put their strength together to move it out of the way.
2005 | Christmas is a fun time of year, especially at our house. We have lots of good memories of singing carols, baking holiday goodies like candy cane cookies, being a secret Santa or doing the "12 Days of Christmas" for different families. This year we visited Jenni's class. They performed some Christmas songs for us. | Baking

Mom planned a fun trip for us on the way to drop Jill off at BYU-Idaho. We visited several temples along the way including Las Vegas, St. George, Logan and Idaho Falls. It was fun to visit different temples and be able to do baptisms. | August 2006
Mom dropped off the girls to hang out with Tiffany at BYU. They had a fun time bowling together. | BYU 2006
Mothers Weekend~~ | Mothers Weekend ~2007~ | Jill: I was at BYU-I for my freshman year of college when Mom came up to BYU-Idaho in March of 2007 for Mother's Weekend. It was such a blast to show her the campus and share all the fun things I had done with my roommates. We went to my roommates and my favorite ice cream and chocolate shop, a dance performance, and a few talks that they had set up special for that weekend. But mostly it was just fun to have my mom there. She traveled so far to come up and spend some time with me. I would get lonely at times without any family around and I felt so fortunate and loved to have my mom there.

Bike ride around RSM lake 2007 | One thing our family has always loved to do together is go on bike rides. We would go on the bike trail, ride around Portola Hills Elementary or go to RSM Lake. We have always loved doing things outdoors together: having picnics, taking walks, going hiking, camping, or biking. On this night, mom and Jill wanted to spend some time together so they went on a bike ride around RSM Lake.
Tiffany's Endowment & Mission Farewell October 2007 | Tiffany: I had a bunch of friends come to the temple with me for the first time, including a bunch of aunts who came all the way from Arizona. It was really special for me to come into the Celestial room and see people that I loved and who loved me. It made the symbol of heaven even more real. I was able to go through the temple and have my farewell talk the same weekend, so a bunch of aunts and cousins made the trip to support me. It meant so much to have them travel all the way just for me. Going to the temple and having my farewell was like a dream because I had looked forward to it for so long. I couldn't stop beaming because I was so excited and felt such a high. It was finally time to serve a mission- something I had been wanting to do my whole life!
At the MTC | Oct. 2007 | Tiffany: The night before I reported to the MTC mom threw a special party for me and all my friends came and said goodbye. The next day it was sure surreal being in the MTC: watching the missionary video then saying goodbye to mom and Jill. Jill started crying before we said goodbye, which made me emotional too. I was surprised mom didn't get emotional, but I think she was too excited for me. She knew I would have a great experience. I didn't cry too hard and it made me feel better to see a bunch of elders crying too. It was just a little overwhelming to realize I wouldn't see my family for a year and a half. But after I got over saying goodbye, I was excited to be a missionary and start my adventure.
ChristmasBreak 2007 | Jill: Jordan came home with me to California for a week for Christmas. He got to meet my family for the first time. We all went to Balboa Island to walk around and we road on the Ferry. We also went to RSM Lake and Jordan sat by the lake to deceive the ducks making them think he had food and he caught one!

Tiffany: One evening Mom, Jenni and I went to the park near our house to have a picnic. It was great weather. Mom and Jenni goofed off on the swings and Jenni did some flips for us. It was great to be able to spend time together outside in such nice weather. | May 2009
Jenni and Tiffany started going on dates together before her mission. They were happy to continue the tradition when Tiffany came home. They went to the Spectrum to try on fancy dresses and eat some chocolatey goodness (a nickname they gave their favorite flavor of chocolate with brownies and fudge). | June 2009
Mom, Kim and Tiffany went to Jenni's track meet. She competed in the long jump, hurtles and 400 meter relay. It was fun to watch and support her. | June 2009

Christmas 2009 | Candy Cane Lane
Christmas 2009 was full of our family traditions of visiting candy cane lane, reading different Christmas stories together, eating mom's yummy waffles with strawberries, and hiking Holy Jim Falls (instead of at Thanksgiving). One difference: Walt came and stayed for a whole week. Grandma Ludlow teased Tiffany and Walt when she came to visit, telling them they needed to get "their story" straight so they could tell it right in sacrament meeting. She just had a feeling they would end up together- and she was right! | Mom, Jenni and Tiffany went to Arizona for New Years. It was fun playing Rock Band, eating home made hamburgers, watching movies like Forever Strong and Night at the Museum. It was amazing to watch Jessica play Rock Band- she was so good at the drums!
BYU Graduate | April 2010 ~ Graduation Lunch Party! | Everyone came up to celebrate Jill's accomplishment. Jill decided not to walk but to just have everyone come for a big family lunch. Mom made chicken and pork meat for the sandwiches. It was such a delicious meal with tons of good company to share it with. | BYU Graduate
Sunday Lunch with the Savage Family
Jill: Jordan and I went down to California as a special vacation for the two of us after my graduation. Mom wanted to do something fun with us while we were there and so we decided to go to Boomers. After the crazy traffic to get there we found out there was a sponsored event so there were TONS of people there. The crowd was at all the outside attractions so we decided to play the arcade games inside. Air hockey is one of my and Jordan's favorite games and it was not being used. So we all played a bunch of air hokey together. It was a blast! | May 2010
Las Vegas- Ludlow Family Reunion | 2010 | For the 2010 Ludlow family reunion we went to Las Vegas and stayed at the WorldMark timeshare just off the strip. It was a week full of family fun! We spent most of our time in the lazy river pool, but the week was full of many other adventures. We had a catered BBQ night, went to a magic show, saw the water show at the Bellagio, danced at the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio and played lots of games! It was so great to see all our family and just spend time with both immediate and extended family.

Everyone was home for Christmas 2010. It was so fun to all be together. We went Christmas caroling at an old folks home to some ladies in mom's ward and to some other random people we thought would enjoy a little music and some homemade goodies. We also played Christmas Bingo, had a left/right story gift exchange and read the Christmas story on Christmas Eve. We played lots of games together (including Nintendo) and we walked around the RSM lake. It was so nice just to all be together for the Christmas holiday. | Caroling | Christmas Bingo | C | H | R | I | S | T | M | A | S | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0
Mom and Jenni came up to Utah for Easter. It was fun to decorate eggs together. We also went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant called Carabas for mom's birthday. It was yummy! | 2011
Everyone came for Tiffany's graduation: Mom, Dad, Grandma, Ronda and all the sisters. Mom and Jill made yummy food to have a celebration lunch. Mom, Tiffany and Walt went to commencement and heard Elder Scott speak. What a great blessing to go to a university where an Apostle speaks at graduation! | April 2011 | Tiffany's Graduation
When mom came up for graduation we had a fun time. We had a couple picnics in the park and had yummy salads and sandwiches.
aitlyn Marie Savage | K | K | aitlyn Marie Savage | Born June 15, 2011 at 5:39PM | Jill: Mom was planning on jumping on a plane as soon as I said I was in labor so she could be here when her first grand-daughter was born. Fortunately we had a little more notice because I ended up being induced on my due date. Things didn't go quite as planned and I ended up having a C-section. Mom got there with plenty of time to spare and chatted with Jordan and I while I was in labor after I had my epidural. My mom was the first person (besides Jordan and I) to hold Kaitlyn. It was so nice to have my mom there to support me and to show her love for us and our new baby Kaitlyn. She was able to stay with us for a week after the birth which was so helpful. Since I had a C-section it was hard for me to get around if I was able to get up and move at all. Mom made lots of cooked meals for me when I got home including meals that were frozen for me to eat later. I loved being able to just chat with her in the hospital room and share my experience of being a new mother with her.

Tiffany: Jenni and Mom came up to Utah for conference weekend. It was Jenni's first time to go to conference and mom's first time at the new conference center. It was great to hear the Prophet and Apostles speak in person and to feel the spirit there. Walt was gone that weekend so we had a girl's weekend. We stayed at a really nice hotel downtown, went shopping, ate at a yummy Thai food restaurant and hung out. Jill and Jordan came up for Sunday morning conference and mom cooked yummy pot roast. It was so fun to spend time together. It's amazing how fast Kaitlyn grows so it was fun for mom and Jenni to be able to see her. | Conference Oct. 2011
After conference, mom and Jenni went to Idaho and Wyoming. They visited Kim and saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. | Oct. 2011
Dear Mom, We know how bad you've tried to take photos when we are together to be able to remember special times and holidays. So we wanted to compile as much as we could together for you in one place. We have so many fond family memories of different holidays and vacations and just spending time together. Hopefully we were able to capture some of those in this book. We're so grateful to you for helping us make such fun memories and for making family time a priority. We are excited to continue a bunch of these traditions in our own families. How grateful we are to have you as our mother and our friend. Your example of faith and dedication to the gospel has been a strength to us our whole life. We love you and look forward to many more family memories being made. Love, Jill and Tiffany
