S: Mund Family Album - Vol 25
FC: Mund Family Album Volume 25 November 6, 2010 - December 25, 2010
November 6, 2010 Adeline and Daddy made a fort by draping a blanket over the futon and onto the desk and Lego table. They called it "Adeline's Clubhouse" after Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (a show she has recently started watching on Disney). It lasted until Chewie stepped on the blanket and sent everything crashing down. Adeline had a lot of fun playing inside the clubhouse and turning on her flashlight and spinning light toy. Everett got in the clubhouse too. He was very intrigued by the lights.
November 8, 2010 We had some beautiful fall weather this week before it got cold. One afternoon we took a walk and another afternoon we played in the leaves. | Everett enjoyed lying in the leaf pile. He seemed to like the sound the leaves made when he moved his arms and legs. Chewie was very interested when Everett was moving in the leaves. He didn't realize it was Everett at first.
Adeline got a few action shots since she refused to pose for a picture. She is becoming a very strong-willed little girl!
November 17, 2010 Adeline finished the reading program at the library last week. You mark off every time you read for 20 minutes and then get a prize when you fill up the card. The prize was a personal pizza from Papa Murphys, which she ate for supper.
We traveled to both Sioux City and Omaha for Thanksgiving. We had our Thanksgiving meal in Sioux City with Grandma Jeanne, Grandpa Dennis, Uncle Drew, Aunt Sue, Uncle Steve. Aunt Debbie, Uncle Mark, and Daniel. Unfortunately, Everett was still a little off from his shots the day before. Adeline was also cranky from traveling with no nap and was refusing to eat. At least she had a good time playing with everyone. We all enjoyed spending time with family, eating, and relaxing. | November 24-28, 2010
We had a gathering with the Haack family in Omaha on Friday after Thanksgiving. We enjoyed more delicious food and had fun playing games and spending time with family. | Nolan and Everett were born just a few days apart.
Playing with Aunt Peg and taking a picture with Uncle Drew and Grandpa Charlie | Hiding under the couch | Circus Puzzle
Playing instruments and UNO Moo | Hiding under the couch again
We ate lunch on Saturday and celebrated Drew's birthday before heading back to Sioux City. | Happy Birthday!
We spent more time with family after returning to Sioux City. Adeline did some coloring with Daniel and she also enjoyed looking at the Chrsitmas lights outside.
Adeline and Daniel also built a marble tower. Arren helped to build it up really tall.
Everett inched himself forward a little bit when he was playing on the floor. He pushed himself up with his legs but then had a hard time getting his arms out. He wants to move so bad!
We also celebrated Uncle Drew's 27th birthday.
Lorna gave Adeline a countdown to Christmas calendar. She was so excited to open it up and see what was inside. | It's chocolate! Yum! | December 1, 2010
A Christmas elf made an appearance at our house this year. We named him Blink. He watched over us and reported back to Santa every night. | Adeline had fun finding him every morning. December 1, 2010
December 3, 2010 Adeline helped us decorate for Christmas. We did a smaller red and white tree and a larger "everything else" tree with all our fun ornaments.
Everything Else Tree | Red & White Tree | Fun with lights
 Decorated fireplace and family ornaments
 Christmas clothes
December 4, 2010 We rode the Santa Express train in Boone with the Haines and Wookcock families. | Adeline loved it! She had a lot of fun playing on the seats and drawing pictures on the window. Everett did a pretty good job hanging out.
They gave us cookies and hot chocolate during our train ride. Adeline devoured her cookie (and part of Mommy's cookie) but was not a fan of the hot chocolate.
We rode to the "North Pole" where Santa came on board and handed each child a bell. After the train ride we all went out for lunch at Pizza Ranch. Adeline stuck a pea up her nose and ended up with her first visit to the ER to get it removed.
December 13, 2010 Adeline sent a letter to Santa. She put snowman stamps on the paper and told Mom what to write. She then gave the letter to Blink for him to take when we goes reports back to Santa.
December 18, 2010 We saw Santa at Duck Worth Wearing. Adeline wasn't too sure about sitting on Santa's lap, so we got a family picture. | Everett also took a picture with Santa in his "My 1st Christmas" outfit.
December 20, 2010 Adeline and Everett got a hat in the mail from Riley and Cara. Everett had fun trying it on. Adeline, on the other hand, was not thrilled to pose for a picture.
Adeline did have fun dressing up like a dog.
December 23, 2010 Adeline loved being Mommy's helper to make spritz cookies. She enjoyed licking the beaters and decorating the cookies with sprinkles. She ate the leftover sprinkles and had a very colorful mouth. The cookies were also delicious!
Christmas Eve We decided to stay home and have a quiet Christmas as a family this year. We still had our traditional Christmas Eve meal of ebleskivers and ham. Adeline liked dipping her ebleskivers in peanut butter. | It snowed most of the day and we got around seven inches.
A big box of presents came in the mail from Grandpa Keith and Grandma Donna. We put the presents under the tree to open on Christmas Day and Adeline had a great time playing in the box. She could fit all the way inside and then had fun popping out of the box. She loved it!
We ended up staying home from church because of the snow and Adeline had a slight temperature. She still had fun making a manger scene with stickers and setting out cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.
Santa filled our stockings, left presents on the fireplace, and put candy canes on both our trees. | Christmas Morning
Everett was down for his morning nap by the time Adeline was ready to open presents (minor meltdown). Adeline started opening and Everett joined us when he woke up. Santa brought Adeline the bus she asked for and some new books.
Santa also filled our stockings with fun goodies. Adeline loved reaching in and pulling out all the surprises. Her facial expressions were priceless!
Adeline also helped empty the stockings for Mom, Dad, and Chewie.
Adeline had plenty of presents to open from Mom and Dad and all the presents that came in the mail from family. She had fun tearing into her presents and loved everything she got!
Everett woke up and joined the fun. He liked the wrapping paper the best. Adeline and Mom helped him empty his stocking and open his presents. He got a piggy bank and books from Santa, and a bunch of other great stuff from family! The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. We had coffee cake, a breakfast casserole, our traditional Christmas meal of Chinese food, and lattes with our new espresso machine from Grandma Pam. Adeline also had a blast playing with her new toys.
