S: Our Family... October 2009- December 2010
BC: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. Here's to more breath-taking moments...
FC: Another Great Year Together | October 2009- December 2010
Time continues to pass and Lia is getting bigger every day. We have such great times together with our family and friends. Taking pictures is a way for us to continue to look back and smile about the things we have done and the memories we have made with people. It may just be a glimpse into time at a certain moment, but often a smile, pose or the look in someones eye reminds us of the joy we have experienced and can transport us back to that second. I hope this book can help us to keep the memories alive.
While at the Car Show and Applefest, we found a playground and Lia had so much fun. She loved to go down the slide and played with Cameron. She was such a good baby and it was clear that she was already getting attached to Brian by the way she gripped his hand with her little fingers. So sweet!

Applefest/ Car Show 2009 Hilton, New York
 Genesee Country Museum
For her birthday, Lia had a huge box arrive from Aunt Kate. Inside was a enormous Panda Bear.
Kate said she remembered getting a big teddy bear as a kid and wanted Lia to have one too, plus it's a Panda Bear, just like Mommy's.
Happy Halloween 2009 | Carving pumpkins with our cousins at the Sawyers
Lia was so cute all dressed up in her bumble bee costume. She had antena and a bee hat. She wore cute black tights and her dress was really fluffy. She had so much fun saying "trick or treat." | BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ
Lia was so excited to get all this candy. She was sucking on this sucker the whole time we were out trick or treating. We only went to about 8 houses but she was thrilled.
However, she was not happy when Mommy took away her candy. Oh boy did she cry!
So, we gave it back to her and she was so happy! Good thing it only happens once a year! | Her 'loot"
 TROUBLE, aka LIA
Mommy will never forget this day. Lia had fallen in the toy box, looking for her baby doll. She did find it, boy is she motivated! | Moving, moving moving...
Ok, we all know there is not much better in life than an Ikea shopping trip. Not only did we go to Ikea together, but we stayed overnight in Canada and had a free meal. We went in the hot tub at the hotel and really had a good time. The van was full to the brim!

Photo shoot at Clix with Jamie Summerlin Lia 13 months old
Mommy and Daddy bought these overalls before Lia was even born. We thought they were adorable and either a boy or girl would look cute in them! | Lia wore her Papa's conductor hat as a suprise for Papa. It matched her overalls and we thought her pearls added a little girly touch!

Love in it's purest form: Family
Lia loved to lay on her Big Elmo and Big Panda bears! She would always pull them out from where they were to right in the middle of the room.
This moment was amazing. Lia never "laid down" on anyone. She wasn't much of a cuddler. So, when Kate and Mommy came home and found her laying on Colleen, we were shocked. It was a really sweet moment, glad it was caught it in a picture!
Lia loved to eat by herself, especially things that were messy. And, she loved to brush her teeth, aka "brusha brusha" with her Abby Cadabby toothbrush. Lia would hold her finger up and run it over her mouth, it was so cute. To avoid any further messes, she was put right in the sink at Grammie and Papa's so she could brush, then bath!

 November 14-17, 2010
Our friend, Anita McLeod, was nice enough to share her vacation with Lia and Mommy. All it took was a drive to Montreal, Canada. It was a nice break and good time spent with our friend. We stayed at Augberge du Lac Morency. We initially had more of a hotel type room but Anita called and we quickly were moved into a larger condo type setting. It was really nice and very fun. We are so thankful that Anita invited us!
This was Mommy and Lia's first long road trip together. Lia did great. She loved watching her movies, reading books and talking to Mommy.
While checking in the hotel, Lia picked up a fashion magazine and started flipping through. It was so cute!

She helped Mommy totally rearrange the living room to accommodate the Christmas Tree and decorations. She and Mommy moved all the furniture in between the Living Room and Lia's bedroom. Then, to top it off, Lia asked for Aunt Kate to read to her before bed. Again, Kate obliged and proved again what best friends are for...
