Dear Expectant Parent(s), We would like to take a moment to thank you for looking through our profile and for possibly considering us for the awesome responsibility of raising and loving your child. We both are very excited about this adoption journey that we are on, and already love the child that God has created and that He has destined for us, even though we don’t yet know of him/her. We are both very willing to meet you in person, if that is something that you should want. We hope you enjoy learning a little bit about us and our lives together, and we look forward to getting to know you. Brian and Stacey
Who We Are | We share our space with Shandy, our 5year old Otterhound. Shandy has a love for people- especially kids- swimming and tennis balls. She is a therapy dog who makes regular visits to local nursing homes to spread good cheer. She is very puppy-like and helps make our house a home. We met at Dewey Beach, DE through close friends in 2004. We hit it off immediately and after leaving the beach, decided that even though Brian was living in Rochester, NY and I, in Washington, DC, to begin dating long-distance. We met for weekends regularly and chatted on the phone and online for a couple months, before Brian decided to move to DC. Within about 3 or 4 months, I think we both knew that we were heading towards something serious. We were engaged a year later and married the year after that, on November 4th 2006, in Washington, DC, surrounded by family and friends. We had an amazing honeymoon in Hawaii and look forward to exploring more of those beautiful islands in the future as a family. We are both so happy and thankful that we have found each other and feel blessed each and every day.
Stacey is a Regional Director for a senior care company. She has been in the industry for several years now and loves helping people live better lives every day. Brian has his own successful financial advisory business and enjoys helping people care for their futures and that of their loved ones. We both are proud of the work we do and exhibit professionalism and a great work ethic in all aspects of our jobs. We work hard so that we can enjoy our off time together on the weekends. During the summer we can usually be found on the beach or at the pool. We love to spend time with friends and have found the drive-in in Tampa to be a favorite local destination. If we're not off somewhere exploring, you can find us at home either working in the yard or taking an occasional lazy day to do absolutely nothing but catch up on recorded TV shows. We both love to travel locally and abroad. We try to make several trips throughout the year and cannot wait to bring baby along! | What Do We Do?
Brian is an amazing man; smart, supportive, loving and gentle. I feel so blessed to spend every day of my life with him. I feel so safe and secure with Brian, he has a heart of gold and will go that extra mile for anyone in need. I love him for many reasons, but most of all because he has a desire to be a dad more than anything in this world and it would make me so happy to hear a child call him “daddy”. | Who Is Brian? 7: Who is Stacey? (by Brian) | The first thing I remember Stacey telling me was that her family comes before anything, and if I didn’t like that, then I had better keep on looking. Over the years, it became evident that she truly meant it. She loves her family more than life itself and will do anything she can for each and every one of them. She has so much love for those around her and is truly a caring and nurturing woman. Her love and desire for children is only outdone by her love for those fortunate enough to be close to her. I married her at 39, and I can say that the wait was well worth it, and that God knew what He was doing all along. I can honestly say that I would be lost and empty without her and I love her with all my heart. She is going to make some child very happy and he/she will always feel very loved.

About Stacey's Family | Maternal family reunion | Stacey comes from a very close-knit immediate family and large extended-family. They are very much looking forward to having a new addition to dote upon. Both her mother and father's sides of the family celebrate reunions every year which is a great way for everyone to stay acquainted. Sadly, though her father, George, has passed, we are fortunate that her mom, Norma and sister, Diana, plan to move here to FL to play a larger part in the baby's life. We get together for major holidays, many of the minor holidays, and sometimes for absolutely no reason at all. They are a great support system, and once we are blessed with a little one, that support system will only grow. Every one of Stacey's family are very excited about the thought of adoption and can't wait to welcome a new baby. | Mom/Soon-to be Grandma | Stacey w/aunts, cousins, Mom and Diana | Stacey w/Sis Diana and Grandma

Brian comes from a family of four. He has an older sister, Brenda, that lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Tim and three sons, Nathan, Aaron and Josh. Sadly, his father, Les, has passed, but his Mom, Ruthanna, also lives in Pennsylvania. Since his family lives half a country away, we only get to see them all once or twice a year. However, our nephews will come out for a couple weeks in the summer, but they are getting to the age now that coming out to visit family isn't as cool as it used to be. We cherish every opportunity we get to spend time with them all, and are looking forward to our upcoming trip to visit them in Pennsylvania. Brian and his sister were raised by two very loving parents, who always taught them right from wrong and personal responsibility in life. They also ensured they were raised in a Christian home and lived lives with Christian beliefs and values leading the way. His family is as excited as we are about adding a new leaf to the family tree. | Dad with the band | About Brian's Family

Our Home | We live in a safe and beautiful, gated, country club community called River Hills. Our comfortable pool home has 4 bedrooms and a private backyard, great for children and dogs alike. The nursery planned will sport a warm and cozy jungle theme. We have wonderful and supportive neighbors with children of all ages. We socialize with them, for children and adult parties, BBQs, and the like, on a regular basis. We are within walking distance to two parks and schools are very conveniently located as well. We are a short distance to a lake and a children's complex that specializes in sports, swimming, gymnastics and cheer lessons. In the evenings and on weekends, you can always see neighbors walking their dogs, kids playing or riding their bikes. River Hills is a great place to raise a family!

Volunteer Work | Giving back... We have both been very active through our church, work and charitable organizations. We take Shandy to visit nursing home residents often, which we enjoy very much (the residents seem to enjoy it, too!). We work with UVETS, a charity that assists former military personnel in need of housing, or home improvements they cannot afford. And also St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is an amazing organization we support that helps children and their families battle and cope with serious illness. We have contributed to food pantries, clothing drives and provided holiday gifts and meals to nursing home residents as well as needy children/families. We support these, and other great causes, both monetarily, and through the donation of time.
Thank you again for taking the time to look through our profile book. We can only imagine how difficult a decision this is for you, choosing parents for your child, and we know that you do it out of great love. We can assure you that if we are chosen, we will continue to pour that love on your child and that he or she will know what a great sacrifice you have made, and what kind of person you are. We pray that you receive the guidance, wisdom and support in this time of your life, and that the decisions you make are guided by God and done through His will. Wishing you the very best, Brian and Stacey
