2: On Tuesday, May 10, late in the night, we took took off on the long journey from New Jersey to the Florida Keys, with our Subaru Forester loaded full of wedding items, kayaking and camping gear, and our boats tied to the roof. We drove straight through to Florida and crashed at a Hampton Inn in Port St. Lucie, north of the Keys. The next day we arrived in Key Largo and drove to get our marriage license. After a fun weekend and Sunday ceremony with our families, we spent the next two weeks Key-hopping, camping, kayaking, climbing lighthouses and enjoying our newlywed status... it might not have been a conventional honeymoon, but for us it was the trip of a lifetime! We loaded up and came back home to reality just before Memorial Day weekend. | about Our Trip
