The girls loved getting to watch a village glass blower. They were captivated as they watched him take a colored glass rod, heat it, and turn it into a work of art! They watched as he made a humming bird and a goldfish. We also enjoyed watching Robin Hood relive his adventures and the knights joust before the Queen. (Unfortunately, our knight gave a very poor showing...he was knocked from his horse.)
A Trip to the Fire Station | The Drye's invited us to join them on a tour of the Englewood Fire Station. The kids learned about fire safety and then got to sit on an ambulance and a firetruck. They also got to try on a firefighter's gear.
Christian, Contessa, Ariana, and Braedin learn about the ambulance. | Claire tips her hat to the firefighters. Daddy and Aria drive the engine.
We had so much fun at OHVA's Winterland of Gingerbread last year that we invited the Hesson's to join us this year. The girls had a great time skating together!
Contessa stretched her writing muscles as she created several pieces of poetry.
