25: NOVEMBER 2010 | CHRS, Mark and Alan hosted a Surprise Birthday party for the man they call "DAD". Mr. Morris was joined by his wife, and so many of his Rescue Squad Family Members from all across the state. He was presented with a Big Cake, some beautiful plaques, and lots of Loving well wishes from his guests. But just as you expect, Mr. Morris gave the greatest gift to all of us who attended. Another opportunity to spend time with him, hear his stories and enjoy many laughs and good memories. | Something Special for DAD. | Morris J. 29: Officer Elections 2011 | New Board of Directors for 2011 | Randy Canady has been a member of PHCRS since 1995. He has served in the offices of Maintenance, 2nd Lt, and was 1st. Lt under Captain Tucker for several terms. Randy is a TARS Instructor in EVR and EVOC, He was voted TARS Instructor of the Year in 2005. Randy's goal is teaching new members our great rich history and to be a good servant of the community. He stresses SAFETY First, and takes every new member under wing and works with them. 34: C.I.R.T CLASS January 2011 | When this incident occurred, our Rescue Squad was called to help. Upon arrival, the Officers knew this was no ordinary accident. The CIRT team was called in to investigate. Our truck provided light for the scene and when the CIRT Team arrived they assigned tasks for our members on the scene. So we asked the team to come and show us more about what they need from a wreck.

35: Tennessee Highway Patrol | Trooper Shelton explained that it was OK to get pictures at a scene, if we had to cut a part of the vehicle, before they arrive at the scene. It preserves possible evidence. | CIRT described a lot of little details that we may find at a wreck scene. We may only see it as debris, but it could be very important to them. He explained preserving the marks left on pavement and tracks on scene.

36: JANUARY 2011 Brought us SNOW! | This first BIG snowfall came so fast it caught everybody off guard. School was in session and some busses ended up in the ditch trying to get the kids home. | A Lot of Snow in a very short time. | This was just one of the many accidents that occurred after only a half hour of snowfall. Accident calls were coming in much faster than any of us could imagine. This one was a challange because it was still snowing very hard.

37: OUR FIRST SEARCH | of 2011 | On the very day of this FIRST SNOW, Mr. Pinchie wondered away from his home and became lost in the heavy snow. Unfortunately he lost his life in the bitter cold. | Thank You to everyone who offered help and food and good hot coffee. To the Sheriffs Office, the K9 Teams Our Friends on Horses and every gesture made. 40: FEBRUARY 2011 | Feb. 22, 2011 brought us to Ky Lake to search for a man that was so well known to so many in the county. He worked in a little grocery here for over 30 years and was known as one of the kindest and most generous loving people . 43: DiAnn Tackett | This Lady is our very own CHAMPION ! She owns DMT Furniture in Paris and has strong ties to our Squad. She spearheaded an effort to feed our crew and the family during this search . She truly went above and beyond. We did not want for anything. | Thank You So Much to all who helped her out. | The Family of Johnny Cunningham asked that donations be made to Paris=Henry County Rescue Squad instead of Flowers. 47: February also brought us a round of very strong storms just before our Region IV Meeting. - That had the chainsaws buzzing for several hours on Friday night and for several days after.

48: MARCH 2011 | March is our MAIL-OUT TIME Over 40,000 pcs to stuff and mail. 54: APRIL 11, 2011 | City of Henry Police Chief , Mark Herndon was involved in a very serious accident at the intersection of Hwy 79 S and Hwy 218 in Paris. | Bad as it looks, Chief Herndon was lucky.

55: APRIL 11, 2011 | Officer Eric Long at the Hwy 218 side. | Trooper Killion marking the scene and taking measurments | Chief Herndon was taken to Vanderbilt and then to Shephard in Atlanta where he remains 5 months later. He continues to improve by prayer and the Grace of Almighty God.

56: April 13th - Land Search | A missing woman prompted a large land search on Barnhill Rd. | As indicated by the headlines, the outcome of the search was a recovery.

59: HENRY CO. HIGH SCHOOL APRIL 2011 | This incident was staged with the help of Sheriff Monte Belew, and the Henry Co Sheriff's Office, Henry Co. EMS, Angie Smith, HCHS Seniors, Buford Taylor, SRO Paris-Henry County Rescue Squad, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and McEvoy Funeral Home. | In this scene, 4 Young Students lost their life after getting in a car with a DRUNK DRIVER. NEVER DO THAT ! | Cpt Randy Canady | DUI TEEN DRIVER | The Grim Reaper escorted each Victim to a waiting herse and took them away

60: APRIL 2011 | April started on a tradgic note. On April 13th, a young girl was Abducted from her home in Decatur County. PHCRS became involved in this search on April 19th when TBI contacted our Sheriffs office wanting the use of our underwater camera and boats with Sonar. We were called in again on April 24th with the 4 wheelers and 6 people for search teams. | Hundreds of people come to do what they can to help find this girl. Now 5 months later, she is still missing

Wood St as the Parade begins | Our Squad is proud to help out the Jaycees each year with the Parade for Traffic Control and at the Fish Fry Rodeo | LAST WEEK IN APRIL IS ALWAYS | Our Members ready to work at the Fish Fry Rodeo

63: World's Biggest Fish Fry | TRAFFIC Everywhere | Randy Canady at Volunteer Dr | The Gorgeous Clydesdale Hitch perform at the Fish Fry Rodeo | The Stars of the Grand Parade | Thousands of people come to Henry Co for this event. | Tons of fish are fried in a tradition that is 56 years old. LOTS of FUN | "WORLD'S BIGGEST FISH FRY"

64: May 2011 | May began with pouring rain. This accident occurred when the Maroon vehicle pulled out of E. Antioch Rd into the path of the Silver SUV. The driver of the Maroon vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected between the two vehicles. Had the ground not been wet, this would have been a much worse accident than it was. | Notice all the tracks left when the vehicles slid on wet ground. 71: CARROLL COUNTY RS | Carol won a Free EMS Symposium. | PHCRS | Kathy Clark | Charlie Gable | Dale Dodds | Dujuana Naylor | We have several new members who seem to be getting very excited about coming to meeting and going to their first TARS Convention in Pigeon Forge.

72: JUNE 2011 | Captain Randy Canady turned 50 ! Squad members and family had a surprise party at our building. | Happy Brithday "Pappy" !

73: JULY 2011 | Henry County has a new building at the lake to house Emergency Agencies and have Community Events | Working on the Squad Bay at PLSP | This bay will be home to one of our boats, as well as one of the TWRA boats.

74: K9 and Operator Training | It is important that our members meet with the K9 Teams and Train Boat Operators to work with them on a search. We learn how each K9 indicates and move the boat accordingly. | K9 Teams prepare to board the boats and go out on a search | The dogs wear Lifejackets too. | This is the older Lab and a young Labradoodle. | These dogs are amazing to watch and work with. They can find human scent as small as a tooth in a body of water as big as Ky Lake.

81: September 11, 2011 | Ten Years, A Decade, has passed since terrorist attacked our Nation. Life in America, as we knew it, ended forever on 9/11/2001. Now we live in a world of Post 9/11. Homeland Security was Established. We went to War and have lost so many Soldiers in the fight. America suffered, but she has healed. Now Memorials have been built. The Pentagon was repaired, and Ground Zero is no longer an ugly gapping wound. There is a place to go and remember all those lives lost that day.
