28: Wishing Boats | We all had a part in making the wishing boats: collecting the sticks and then working in shifts to glue them together with love and hot glue gun sticks.
29: Wishing Boats released onto the water at sunset in honor of Roger Pfeiffer who is dearly loved and greatly missed. | "We can't miss it. We have to get to the beach before the sunset!" (Roger always said)

31: Grammy brought 15 red shirts for the kids to wear on July 4th, plus all the supplies for the parade banners. We marched up the road playing patriotic music on a blue tooth boom box, entertaining a few guests and staff at the lodge!

52: Cousins Night Out!
53: It was Uncle Fred's idea to send the cousins out to dinner at the lodge while the older generation took care of the youngest generation. It was a highlight of the week for us parents. Seven experienced adults can take care of fifteen kids for a few hours, right? | Some great photos were taken of our evening out: delicious food and drinks, stories and laughter among the cousins. Although there's no evidence, it's doubtful a similar experience was had at the main house.
