FC: A look inside a human and a penny | By Abbie Moore and Jazmin Phelps
A look inside a human | A human is a living organism that is made up of cells, organs, systems, tissue and so on, while non- living things don't need or have any of that stuff. Also, humans need energy and non-living things don't need that either.
This is the circulatory system of a human. It is one of eleven systems in our bodies.
Inside each system are organs, one of the organs in the circulatory system is the heart.
This is an image of some of the tissue in a heart.
These are the cells that are inside the heart tissue. they are called myocytes
One kind of molecule that is in a myocyte is an oxygen molecule.
An atom that is in a oxygen molecule is an oxygen atom
A look inside a penny | A non-living thing (like a penny) has molecules and atoms like a living object but has no cells or organs. It doesn't need water or food to survive.
Inside a penny is a copper molecule, this is a structure of one. Since copper is a element, all that is in it is copper.
Inside a copper molecule is a copper atom.
