4: From the first day of move-in to the beginning of the second semester, residents learn what to expect and display ways of expressing themselves. | BULETIN BOARDS
6: BUILDING WIDE
7: It's A Party was thus far the most successful building wide program, with an attendance of about 220 residents. This program was the first event where the staff was able to work as a whole to produce an event as well as take part in team work.
8: TARGETED PROGRAMS | Rock, Paper, Ice Cream brought residents together to play a champion game of rock, paper, scissors. At the end of the final round the winning resident was the first to pick their ice cream as well as toppings.
9: Candy Land allowed residents to become their own game piece in a life size version of the board game Candy Land. Residents in return learned facts from around the world in order to move through the playing field.
10: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
11: Friendship bracelet making was the must successful program. Residents were able to engage with others that they may not have met or seen while crafting.
12: Surveys were a way to get to know my residents and what they wanted from living on the third floor. | Working with a co-worker to compile a spreadsheet on current and past activity in Johnson Hall.
13: Residents holding up pictures I drew for them of their favorite sea animal to show thanks. | RA of the Week sash made once a week for the hardest working RA.
