9: We all loved Eddie! Ava loved playing games with Hotdaddy and Nana in the Land Rover! Rock, paper, scissors!

10: Cal was fascinated by the banana trees! | Ngorongoro Crater is home to over 25,000 animals!

11: Ngorongoro Farmhouse & Coffee Plantation! Beautiful grounds & neat cottages!

12: Thank goodness for Dr. Frank! He made Cal feel better quickly!

13: The Maasai seeking a watering hole for their priceless cattle!

18: Mom literally bought these earrings right out of his ears!

38: Serengeti National Park stretches for endless miles across the wilds of East Africa. A world of calm beauty and quick violence, it is home to over two million animals and witness to daily dramas of life and death played against a background of sublime grandeur.

73: UP, UP AND AWAY!! | A Hot Air Balloon Ride over the Serengeti... at Sunrise on my Birthday!!! | We rose 1,000 feet up and took an hour long flight!

80: The number of wildebeests alone is 1.6 million, and their journey is not easy. The migrating mass is composed of small herds of one to ten thousand.

84: The animals would all run like lightning when they heard the hot air from our balloon!

87: The giraffe's stride is 15 feet!

89: Safe and Sound! A smooth landing despite the termite mound! CHEERS!

91: We were served a lovely English-style breakfast under this tree in the middle of the Serengeti... Awesome! | The balloon's "Black Box"

94: After the "bush plane" took us back to Arusha (with Cal in the cockpit) we visited this 2,000 acre coffee plantation! | The last night at Mbalageti - the girls in their "Kangas" | Danielle, Sarah, Kelly & Ava
