2: Lost Iguana Resort Arenal | Parador Resort Quepos near Manuel Antonio | Airport San Jose
3: Itinerary Friday, 12/23- Grandma, Grandpa, and Fallowes-Kaplans fly to Costa Rica, then drive to the Lost Iguana Hotel in Arenal. Saturday, 12/24- Volcano Hike, hike around the back of the Lost Iguana Hotel, 15th Birthday dinner at the hotel. Sunday , 12/25- White Water Rafting and lunch on the Balsa River, dinner with the Eisle-Kaplans at the hotel. Monday, 12/26- Grandma, Grandpa and Fallowes-Kaplans Skywalk and Skytram; Eislie-Kaplans Ecogliding (with Paul and Michelle Kaplan!!), then Tabacón for lunch, hot pools, spa, and dinner. Tuesday, 12/27- Eisle-Kaplans take volcano hike in the morning, then we all head to Manuel Antonio - stopped in San Ramon for lunch, stopped at Tárcoles River Bridge to see crocodiles, then arrived at Hotel Parador. Dinner at the hotel. Wednesday, 12/28- Guided nature hike of Manuel Antonio Park and saw lots of wildlife. Thursday 12/29- Catamaran Tour with snorkeling near Biesanz Beach. Afternoon at hotel pool, dinner at La Avión. Friday 12/30- Shuttle to Playa Espadilla (near Manuel Antonio Park), surfing lessons, pool, and dinner at Kapi Kapi. Saturday 12/31- Bus back to the airport. Returned on Lacsa Airline. Counted down for New Years as we landed.

8: Arenal Volcano - HIke Arenal Volcano is 5,437 feet high. After 400 years of inactivity it erupted from 1968 until 2010. It's now in an indefinite resting phase.

And I loved the views of the volcano from our room and the view of the ocean from the pool. | My favorite parts were the Tarzan swing and the omelets! | My favorite part was swimming outside in December! | My favorite parts were the animals, the lush landscapes, and taking pictures.
