 -Dedicated to Julia with love-
I went through all our photographs memories made over many years. Pictures with a million words that bring my soul to tears. Two young girls with the world before us.Best friends forever. How could I have known that March day would change our lives forever. I study each one carefully replaying the memories in my mind. Looking for clues of what the future would hold and the heartache it will now leave behind. There are moments I can think of that lift my spirits high. The moments when you picked me up, when the road was hard to climb. For me to pick one moment to cherish and to keep, is proving really difficult, as I have gathered up a heap!
I sat and thought about what moment would always make me smile, one that would push me to walk the extra mile. I put the moments of those pictures within my hearts abode.. I could open it when I wanted and only you and I know the code. I dug deep inside my heart, found the safe and looked inside. There was room for lots of moments, in fact hundreds... if I tried. I am building my own library embedded in my heart, for all the moments spent with you, before you had to part. I will miss you, and think of you everyday. You will always be my best friend, and that is all I have to say. I love You Shareen Love always -N- Forever Tara
Shareen wearing the necklace I gave her as we were having dinner at the Hard Rock before going to see Brandi Carlisle in concert. My dear friend, how can I forget about you? When you are ALWAYS there...in the music we adored, in the food that we ravished and when your sound echoes in the laughter of others that I still make smile...Don't you feel sad for me. I am not trying to forget about you, but cherish the memories of you that I carry with me still... I luv ya forever, you crazy girl. J.P
Shareen spent the night with a couple other girls for a slumber party...well, around midnight Shareen wanted to go back home. So she called her “Nana” , and Julia's mom came over around midnight in her robe and curlers in the station wagon to pick up Shareen (I guess she missed her “Nana”!!!!! ) Love Nancy Vigil
My memories of Shareen are many. She dated my son for a lot of his high school senior year. We spent many hours and days with Shareen. We traveled together for school clothes, staying in a hotel and having many laughs. | One memory that does stand out is when Shareen picked Ryan up and was driving down the street she was looking elsewhere and drove up into our neighbors yard hitting their new tree. Shareen knocked the tree over and had to replace it. | Shareen's laughter and great humor will be missed by many. Bless you Shareen. Love and be at peace Gay West, Ryan Ross, and Ashley Ross.
I specifically remember seeing your... shoes at my front door for the first time and thinking my brother was dating a 12 year old, your feet was sooo little!!! :) You will now live in our hearts and soul, we will try to not drive faster than you can fly because god knows we can all use another guardian angel!! Ashley Ross | It seems that the brightest stars are the ones that end most abruptly! My condolences to Shareen Carlos, and her family at this time. She will be greatly missed by everyone that she has touched. I will say this, She may be gone but she will never be forgotten. Her beautiful smile and light in her eye can never be replaced. A truly amazing person!!! Mike Randolph
I have known Shareen for over six years here in Las Vegas. She and I became fast friends while working in a plastic surgeon's office. We shared a common sense of humor and we enjoyed the fact we are true Scorpios. Shareen was a true friend and was really there for me in a very difficult time in my life. My son adorered her and misses her so much. Shareen and I spent many long lunches and dinners out together. Even though we saw each other only every month or so in the past year, we could sit down and start right up where we left off catching up on what is going on in our lives. I appreciated Shareen's sense of passion. Her passion for food, love, animals and friendship. I remember a few times out eating a meal with her, and she would say "do you LOVE your food, do you LOVE how it tastes?". My answer was usually "It's ok" or "It's good". She would say "You don't LOVE it? I would usually say "not really". She always loved the taste of certain meals and I could tell by her reaction when she took a bite if she loved it or not. I always had her pick where we would eat, because I knew she would want to go somewhere that she had been before (over and over) to enjoy and love a meal she had in the past. Actually, I was slightly jealous because I could never quite enjoy food the way she did. Her laugh and smile were infectious and I miss it a whole bunch. She was a wonderful friend and her passing has left a little gap in my heart. She gave me a Scorpion pendent that now hangs in a place where I can see it every day and think of her. My thoughts and prayers go out to Julia and Shareen's entire family. Teri Palochak
My favorite memories are you getting your first car and blaring Strawberry Wine on our way to get Taco Bell for breakfast. Also going to see the movie "Santa Claus" with our moms. That movie is still a favorite to watch with my kiddos. You will truly be missed. My heart goes out to your mom and family! Vicki Griffin
Good friends Lori and Shareen. I miss them. Heart broken over the loss of Shareen, a wonderful girl, full of fun loving spirit, I never laughed harder because of that great girl. Love always Jackie Ropp | Saying Good bye to you today Shareen was so very hard. I just read all of our text messages that I had since 2010 and laughed so hard! I will miss our laughing and our jokes that only people with a warped sense of humor could understand. You were a great friend and I will so very much miss you.. I will see you in the astral world and in my dreams. Till we meet again! Love you, Sommer
Someone that was so special to my daughter and myself...love you precious. See you on the other side of the veil Izzi called her "big sissy" Kelly Pelletier | All of our memories, so many good ones. My favorite is when we tried to walk across the river and I fell in, all you could do is laugh and laugh. I thought I was going to drown and fl...oat away forever... Or walking home from school that one time with the boys and you told me to make you laugh...which I did by taking a fall on the cinder rocks. Hahaha, we laughed so hard! I seriously am missing you my friend. This world needs more smiles like yours. You will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart Bri Larson
