1: This is a great pictorial of a man who had a vision to create a unique fresh market from 10,000 sq ft. of raw space and the people that came along for the ride. Lots of laughter, hard work, and a few tears went into Southtown Market making it an amazing place to be for both customers and employees!

7: While the weather outside was frightful, the inside was becoming delightful.................
10: It was all hands on deck........ Even Jack was put to work | Inspecting potatoes | Checking the baskets | And building a display
11: A merchandiser is born......... | Jack loved using the pricing gun, it took him a while but he got the job done!
12: Wouldn't be a market without a little grocery! Southtown had a great selection of imported pastas and olive oil.
13: The little guy was always ready to help! He even had his own broom. | Cleaning up after a long day............
14: We got a break in the weather and the sign finally went up!
15: After months of delays by the Town of Hamburg, countless hours of demolition, construction, painting and cleaning, Southtown Market finally opened its doors in February 2007! That's when the fun began........

24: By far, the best seller at Southtown Market..... the Stromboli Platter made by the "Bossman" Made with only the finest ingredients, hand rolled and baked to perfection!

26: Spring brought us green grass, flowers, butterflies and construction.............
27: Jack was the only one happy about the construction!
28: Spring also brought us rain and lightning! | Lightning struck the building and the pole outside starting a fire leaving us with no power and
29: a store filled with slicers, refrigerated cases, freezers, cash registers, and customers. Power lines fell across cars in the lot. Jim even made the evening news!
