1: The beginning of my USA adventure. 3 weeks visiting Los Angeles, Las Vegas (Grand Canyon), Washington DC and New York.
2: The very flash 'Hotel Roosevelt' with the most comfy bed EVA! We were constantly getting notices to say part of the hotel would be closed for filming purposes. On our first night I spotted a celeb heading into the elevator. It was Ed Westwick who plays 'Chuck Bass', the mean one in 'Gossip Girl'. Was so exciting!
3: 'Rio and Scream 4' movie premieres across the road from the Hotel Roosevelt at the Chinese Theatre. Emma Roberts from 'Scream 4' signing autographs.
6: Universal Studio Tour, special effects | Above: 'Fast and the Furious' stunt cars Below: Our mini train went through water on 'skull island' from the movie 'King Kong'. | Above: The Waterworld show was awesome. Based on the movie with Keven Costner. Fake shooting, flames, waterskis, boats and great stunts. Left: Drive down Wysteria Lane, 'Desperate Housewives'
7: LA Lakers vs Oklahoma CIty Thunder.The game was INCREDIBLE! Full house at the Staples Centre, 18,500 fans. | Top right: Full house chanting MVP (Most Valuable Player) Kobe Bryant RIght: Lamar Odom, wife Khloe Kardashian-Odom
8: Disneyland Missed two trains but eventually made it to Anaheim. Free entry tickets thanks to Erin.
10: End of trip, on way home. Flew from New York to LA, Newmark airport (New Jersey). Flight cancelled due to a devastating tornado. Death toll up to 200+ people in Alabama alone, 1700 injured at this point. State of emergency announced in 7 states. WInd speeds of 200-250miles per hour. We were meant to have landed back in NZ on the 30th for my birthday but missed it due to flight cancelled. No USA birthday or NZ birthday : ( | Another day in LA so we made the most of it. Booked a 'Movie Stars Homes in Beverley Hills Tour' with stop offs at Venice Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Beverley Hills mansions and Rodeo Drive. | Oh la la.......
11: The very wealthy Beverly Hills houses. Saw Biebers, Pitts, Beckhams, Michael Jacksons house where he died and more... | Can you guess where Los Angeles finishes and Beverley HIlls starts? | The famous Rodeo Drive had shops like Rolex, Chanel, Jimmy Choo and more... Our tour guide pointed out Badgley Mischka which featured in the movie, 'Pretty Women'. The shop assistant snubs Vivian Ward when she tries to buy new clothes.
13: Clockwise: Paris Hotel, Excalibur, Bellagio and Caesars Palace
14: By chance met Pierre at the Colosseum who needed to sell his ticket to Celine DIon which was starting in 10mins. Taken! | Most AMAZING show! Total high after it...
16: Jabawockeez was the worst show ever! So boring, big dissappointment!
17: This was a water based show. It was the best show ever, so mesmerising... Incredible talent! Excellent last night in Vegas!

26: The Washington Monument (obelisk) built to commemorate the first president General George Washington | The White House | U.S Capitol- free tour inside, very worthwhile. It stands as a monument to t he American people and their government.
