1: Sevilla, Spain, my home for four months And my travels included Madrid, Spain Cadiz, Spain Granada, Spain Ronda, Spain Barcelona, Spain Paris, France Lisbon, Portugal Sintra, Portugal Istanbul, Turkey

4: around the city.. | Bullfighting is still popular in Spain, with the bullring pictured below.

5: I lived in a barrio called Los Remedios. Because it was atleast a 20 minute walk to anywhere, my friends and I would meet at the local hot spot, Tijuana TexMex, so we could walk together. | My first futbol game. Sevilla F.C. versus Hercules

6: Catedral | The largest Gothic Cathedral and the third largest Cathedral in the world .

7: Alcazar | A courthouse for the Royal Family.. complete with the Queen's Bath

8: Feria | A week long fair in Sevilla where women dress in traditional flamenco dresses. | My host mom, Marilo, with her daughter, Rocio. | Some of my friends' host mother's let them borrow dresses

9: All stores, even banks, close early during this week, as people eat,drink, and dance from 2 in the afternoon until 8 the next morning. | People waiting for the lighting of La Portada, below, which then begins Feria

10: Ronda, Spain | A beautiful mountain town that also has one of the oldest bullrings in Spain.

11: The bullring also was a museum, containing torreros' capes and old advertisements.

12: CARNAVAL de | Cruzcampo, the beer of Spain.

13: CADIZ | Every year, people from all over the world flood to Cadiz, Spain for Carnaval, which is a mix of Halloween and Mardi Gras. | In character as a bull with my bullfighter.

14: Madrid | a museum trip with my Art History professor | The Royal Palace of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia | The Plaza de Madrid, where the royal familiy hosts parties and wedding ceremonies | After two days of lecture..

15: La Reyna Sofia was a museum that contained artwork from Spanish artists, including Picasso

16: Lisbon, Portugal

19: Sintra, | Portugal | A small town outside Lisbon that has the Pena Palace.

20: The Opera House | Paris

21: and of course, the Eiffel Tower. | Diane, our host during our visit.

22: Notre Dame | Sainte Chapelle

23: The Louvre and Moulin Rouge

24: Barcelona | Arquitecture by Antoni Gaudí is throughout the city. This is Casa Battló

26: Parque Güell

27: Sagrada Familia | Cathedral designed by Gaudí | Picasso, who lived in Barcelona, has a museum there as well.

28: Istanbul,, Turkey | Turkish Delite

29: The Spice Bazaar, where we practiced our bartering skills..kind of. | Ediz, our host who we met through a mutual friend | Sultan Ahmed Mosque or "Blue Mosque" | Taksim Square, a modern center filled with shops, restaurants, and hotels

30: Tour of the Bosphorous Sea, and the Asia side of Istanbul. | The Ayasofya, constructed in the 4th century. | Outside the Blue Mosque

31: After three days when all signs were in Turkish, we are hungry and very tired. | Fresh fish straight from the Bosphorous Sea. Sandwich was 4 Lira, or 2.30 dollars | Basilica Cistern, built in the 6th century | The Grand Bazaar | Inside the Blue Mosque
