4: Who is Hera | Hera is the child of Cronus and Reha. Hera is the Greek goddess of love and marriage. She is also the god of the Heavens and the Earth. Hera's name means, Great Lady. She is the queen of all gods. Hera is responsible for every little aspect of life. | Chapter 1

5: Hera's Family | Hera's parents are Cronus and Reha. Her grandmother is Gaea. Her grandfather is Ouranos. Hera's brothers and sisters are: Zeus, Chiron, Neptune, Pluto, Demeter and Vesta. Hera married Zeus. She had two sons and three daughters. Her sons are Ares and Hephaestus. Her daughters are Eilithyia, Eris, and Hebe. | Chapter 2

Later myths conclude that Hera has always had a soft spot for the cuckoo bird. The peacock is to symbolize Hera's watchfulness. The peacock is sometimes associated with Summer.
