The Days of Dak | Published in 2011

Once upon a time there was a handsome young prince named Dak.Dak was madly in love with his fiancé, Lulipsus.

Four days after he asked her to marry him the evil wizard turned the handsome Dak into a gross ugly peasant.

The evil wizard had 12 brothers that were all good wizards. Dak went to the them and asked what to do, but the wizards didn't believe that it was Dak.

They told him to prove himself by slaying the evil donkey of death. Then they would help him. Dak was frightened, but he accepted the challenge.

So Dak set off into the forest towards the evil donkey's lair.

As Dak was walking he saw a guy lay a jeweled sword on the path. He went to pick it up and realized that he could use it against the donkey.

Dak entered the donkey's territory, but the donkey was nowhere to be seen.He searched high. He searched low. He searched everywhere in between. Just when he was about to turn back he was suddenly filled with a fear possessed by the Evil Donkey of Death.

He turned around just in time to see the Donkey leaping at him. Dak stuck out the blade out with all his might. It went straight through the Donkey's heart. Suddenly the fear was gone and Dak strolled home, unaware of the peril that awaited him.

As he went along, lost on the dirt path, a woodsman saw Dak's ugliness and ran from him. Dak, forgetting about being ugly, wept. Then after a solid hour of weeping, Dak got up and disembarked on his journey home.

As he was walking down the winding, jagged road, Dak started to worry about what Lulipsus would think oh him as a lowly, ugly peasant. | Haha, Your so ugly

After what seemed like hours of worrying, Dak stumbled across a crystal creek and realized he was deathly thirsty. When he approached the creek he saw his reflection in the crystal waters.

All of a sudden the thirst was gone, and the saddened Dak returned to his long journey.Every night he feared for his life because he was so afraid of the woods he was wondering aimlessly through.

At night he was cold and couldn't sleep, and during the day he was hot and annoyed. The next day he tripped and skinned his face on the hard jagged road. | Ouch My face hurts

One morning briefly after he started walking, Dak came across a friendly man standing by the side of the dirt road. The kind manners of the man made Dak feel safe. Eying the sword, the man offered Dak a bountiful basket full of his favorite foods. Receiving the basket, Dak devoured the food without haste. | Hey thanks for the food

Then feeling woozy, Dak sat down to rest and suddenly passed out cold. Waking up hours later, Dak was mad at himself and the wicked man who stole his sword from him.

Hopless and without a care , Dak found himself mouth agape with awe, staring at the marvelous gold gates to Lulousca , his wonderful kingdom. As he opened the pearl studded gate his heart sank as he realized Lulipsus never knew what happend

He ran to the palace to meet her and tell her everything that happened in the past two weeks. She told he to go to the wizards to find the cure.

He told the wizards what happened also and the agreed to do the spell but warned him that it could kill him. Paying no heed to their warning, Dak commanded them to cast the spell in front of the entire kingdom.

As the wizards started the transformation process every thing was going great. His beautiful face, hair, and muscles where regaining their natural look.

But things took a turn for the worse. His skin started burned as he screamed out in pain. Then suddenly all that was left of him was a large pile of dark ash.

Everyone in the Kingdom cried for the poor prince who suffered a terrible fate. The sad princess, Lulipsus fled the castle never to be heard of again.

 THE END.
