The citrus industry is second. *Many of the oranges that are grown on the island don't look like the oranges we know. They are green with yellow spots. Tropicana is one of the major companies that buy Belize oranges *The smallest income that a person in Belize makes is $1.25 an hour (about $.65 in the US). Many people make this amount. *Cruise ships must tender passengers in to the island, because of the barrier reef. once you get past the reef the water is shallow

25: King William Historic Area A 25-block area near downtown on the south bank of the San Antonio River. In the late 1800's the King William District was the most elegant residential area in the city. Prominent German German merchants originally settled the area. It was zoned as the state's first historic district, and has once again become a fashionable neighborhood.

29: Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch We drove through hundreds of acres of safari land in the Texas Hill Country that provides a natural habitat for the animals. The animals were very friendly and were enticed to come right up to the vehicles by the food given to us at the entrance of the ranch.. One Ostrich even tapped on our window with his beak and opened his mouth to let us know he wanted food! At NBWR there are over 50 species from every continent except Antarctica.
