3: Brief summary of project | In this book, we will talk about Venezuela's water problems and different things about Venezuela.

4: Geography of Venezuela______ | Location: In South America bordering the Caribbean Sea Landforms: Mountains, Cliffs, Valleys, Peaks Bodies of Water: lakes, rivers, and oceans/. Climate: Tropical,Humid,Hot Natural Resources: Petroleum, Natural Gas, Iron, Gold, Bauxite, Minerals, Hydro Power, and Diamonds.

5: Map of country | This is a map of Venezuela. It is located in the Northern South America, it is bordering the carribean sea.

6: Interesting Facts 1.Caracas is the capital and largest city of Venezuela. 2.Baseball is the most popular sport in the country. 3. 92 percent of the population are Roman Catholics. 4. Pico Bolivar is the highest mountain at4,979 ft. tall. Amazing isn't it.

8: Causes | Causes: 1.Venezuela has dry seasons. 2. The population is 28,459,085 3.Access to water in Venezuela is expensive

9: Effects | Effects: 1. 2. 3. | Because of the dry seasons there isn't enough water for everybody. The water gets wasted so not all the people get water. Most people don't have enough money so they don't have access to water.

10: How Do We Clean Our Water? | 1. First, The water comes in 2. Second, the untreated water is mix disinfectants to get it clean 3. After that, they take out rocks and other hard dirty things for that they use giant paddles and then solids sink to the bottom.

11: 4. Next,they add other things like chlorine and chemicals so it could be nice and clean \ 5. Then,they are stored in reservoirs. 6. Finally,they make a final test before they are rushed to a home.

12: How Does (your country) Clean Their Water? | How does it compare to how we clean our water? Compared with how we clean our water, in Denver, their water is very dirty. This can cause many deaths and sicknesses. | Venezuela does not have the same system as we do. Venezuelans poor people and places only go to water run offs to get water which is very polluted with oil,trash and other pollutants. On the other side people with money only get it cleaned one time and no tests are done.

14: Problems | Problem 1 Their are lots of people so their isn't enough water for everybody during the dry seasons. Problem 2 There are many seasons where it is very dry. Problem 3 Their waters are contaminated with trash, and other pollutants.

15: Solutions | Solution 1 People should stop having babies to not increase the population. Solution 2 If they know that the dry season is coming they should try and conserve the water. Solution 3 They have to stop polluting their waters.

16: Vocabulary Be sure to include the vocabulary word and the definition. | The Spanish spoken in Venezuela is known for its many unique words and phrases. Chevere means "very well." Estar Pelado (to be bald) and Estar Limpio (to be clean) can also mean " to be broke or out of money. Ponerse las Pillas means to be aware, or watchout. English is required in private high schools and taught at some public schools as well.

17: Describe the Importance of Fresh Water | Water what would we do without water? Water is a number 1 thing in our life. What could the effects of not treating our water well be? Why is water so important for life on earth? What can we do to help conserve our fresh water supply? Well I will be answering these important questions. The first question is, What would the effects of not treating our water be? One effect is that you can get sick with all the pollution. Also chlorine can also dissolve our organs inside our body. Lastly, we can die!!! The second question is Why is water so important for life on earth. The main reason is becausethe water transfers us heat on earth. Also, in human it is mainly to keep our body hydrated and clean. | Water. What would we do without Water? Water is a #1 Thing in our life. In this paragraph we will tell you three main for which water is very important for us. The first reason is because water transfer's us heat on earth. And if we didn't have heat on earth we would be freezing. The second reason is because,if we don't have water with us we can get sick and die. Raise your your hand if you want to die. Since we only have 1% of fresh water on Earth we have to conserve water by: 1st. Always drink all of your water. 2nd. Don't wash your car that often. 3rd. Don't waste your water during washing the dishes. Hope this helped you out.
