1: Agent Orange: | A | The United States military sprayed millions of gallons of this chemical to destroy all landscape that the Vietnamese guerrillas would hide under and to force the people to live in U.S dominated cities.
2: Booby Traps: The Vietcong were very tricky and set up little booby traps in the jungle that the was well known to the VC. | B
3: Communism: The United States became involved with the war to prevent the spread of communism and use their strategy of containment. | C
4: D | Domino Theory: Eisenhower defended the United States policy in Vietnam by stressing this theory which is the belief that if Vietnam fell to communism, so would the other nations of Southeast Asia.
5: Expensive: The Vietnam War was very costly. | E
6: Film: | F | The Vietnam War was the first war that showed film on the actual war that showed people terrifying images.
7: Gulf of Tonkin Resolution: “Johnson was authorized to take all necessary measures to repel any armed attack against the forces of the United States and to prevent further aggression.” | G
8: Ho Chi Minh: | H | A pro communist leader who was very well liked by the northern Vietnamese people.
9: Irritated: Americans began to create groups such as the "doves" who supported the war, and the "hawks" who were against it. | I
10: Jungle War: Using their knowledge of the jungle, the VC used different tactics making a lot of the war take place in the jungle. | J
11: Killing Zone: The area within an ambush where either everyone is killed or wounded. | K
12: Long term effects: The War changed so many peoples lives not only with the deaths, but also with how expensive it was. | L
13: Mylai Massacre: US troops came to the village and began firing at innocent villagers. A very infamous event of the Vietnam War. | M

15: O | Operation Rolling Thunder: The U.S bombing campaign against the North Vietnamese.

17: R | Republic of Vietnam: South Vietnam which was a anti-communist led country proclaimed by Ngo Dinh Diem.
18: S | Student Protesters: The anti-war movement began to grow in the U.S and student protests began to get stronger and stronger.
19: T | Tet Offensive: the Vietcong and North Vietnamese launched a massive surprise attack on American airforces.
20: U | Underground Tunnels: These allowed the Vietcong to launch surprise attacks on Americans and then disappear quickly.
21: V | Vietcong: An army that fought the U.S and South Vietnamese governments using guerrilla warfare.
22: W | William Westmoreland: American Army General who commanded the U.S military during the Tet Offensive.
