Whats The Water Cycle? | The water cycle is the movement of water throughout our world
Why is It Important? | Without the water cycle it wouldn't rain, snow, sleet,or hail. Those are the four kinds kinds of precipitation. The water cycle it almost apart of anything dealing with the weather. It's a never ending cycle of water that provides us with water to drink and provides nutrients for all plant life
 Rain | Snow | Sleet | Hail
The Start | We get all of our energy from the sun.So the sun starts the water cylce.Without the sun not much could go on in our world.Heat from the sun evaporates the water which then becomes a gas.Evaporation occurs because the water is to hot to stay a liquid so it turns to a gas.
 Liquid | Gas
The End | After water turns to a gas it rises to the sky to form clouds which take in little water droplets until the cloud is to full and cant hold any more water. When this happens it begins to rain. This is when runoff takes place.
Run Off | Run off is when it precipitates (rain, sleet, snow or hail) and left over water is left on the surface of Earth.Usually it drains into Earth and becomes ground water.Ground water is when water that was on the surface seeps through and collects underground. That's why some people have wells.Wells are underground pumps that provides you filtered water.
 Run Off | Well
The water cycle occurs every day 24/7.All the water on earth goes through this cycle and our weather is also controlled by this. Hopefully now you know how important it is. | It Never Stops !!
