45: Driving up Kuamoo Rd. to Opaekka Falls | The tide spews through holes in the lava rock formations: Spouting Horn

46: Kalihiwai beach with its interesting trees rooted into the sand eroded from the North Shore high surf

47: KILAUEA LIGHTHOUSE | ANINI BEACH | only the expert surfers enter the hazardous conditions of the high tide and churning waves here... Haena Beach | Kilauea Point is the northernmost point of Kaua'i. 200 feet above the sea. 1913 lighthouse

48: Hanalei Valley where the waterway flows from distant mountains, meandering past a patchwork of watery taro fields. One-lane bridges seem one of the minor inconveniences celebrated by the 500 residents

49: Tree lined roads of Kuhio Hwy intrigue us. | Kekaha Beach Park | sights of North Kaua'i | Maniniholo Dry Cave os 300 feet deep at the bottom end of a huge cliff along Kuhio Hwy near Haena

50: Annulment Bridge is a challenge to all. Dave gets the farthest without holding the side cables-our marriage will last, according to legend

51: Princeville Ranch Adventures offers nine zip lines

52: Before the last Zip line we stop for a refreshing dip and lunch with our guides K-K & Pete.

53: To see the Na Pali Coast on board Capt. Andy's Sailing Catamaran snorkeling tropical reefs, witnessing spinner dolphins frolicking off the bow and more Humpback whales spy us.

54: Really? whale watching from what elevatation?

55: One of the most scenic drives is Hwy 552- Koke's Road..to Waimea Canyon. "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific"...10 miles long, a mile wide and more than 3,600 ft deep.
