Slavery was one of the darkest times in the history of the united states..People were cruel and humans were treated unfairly for no apparent reason.Cruelness spread allover .The world practiced slavery and in some parts.Slavery was a punishment for crime in some places they were not important so they traded them for money.Again for no reason they were treated badly. The slaves were forced to do many things so business owners used that to their advantage.Boom! Was the sky as a storm rushed in and business workers were inside. While slaves were doing cheap and free labor so their business would be more successful.I estimate this probably meant slaves did not have much storm shelter. It was terrible to be a slave. However lots people believed black people should be slaves and some strongly disagreed.Humans had very different opions about slavery especially in some parts of the north. But unfortunately they couldn't really fight for what they believed in.Slaveholders fought because they knew what they wanted slaves and good ones.Actually they wanted uneducated slaves and labor so the slaves wouldn't fight b back.Slave holders had tricky minds especially because there was a lot of slavery going on it was a cruel, terrible thing but it happened. | INTRO. | Fun Fact!Indians had far better knowledge of the fields and forests than the English did so they shipped Native American slaves to the West Indies where they were exchanged for African slaves.

What was the cause of slavery?Well when Columbus fond the Caribbean sea and the Spanish conquered and named the island bajar mar or the shallow seas.they were trying to gain power and bring profit to Spain. So your still probably wondering what was the cause of slavery?Well i will tell you here it goes. Its sad to think that we had to force other human beings to work and sweat of their pain all because................ Till this day there has been good discoveries and very, very I mean very bad discoveries.Columbus fond many things like for example AMERICA!However,Columbus discovered the Caribbean Sea.On October 12th 1492 the Spanish conquered and tried to bring profit home to Spain. They forced the Indians to work.Their plan was going good until more than half of the Indians were killed in battle or disease. However their plan could not fail so they used Africans as their slaves and soon enough brought profit home to Spain.many people followed that example and that led to us encountering a terrible part in history slavery!Although they believed slavery wasn't a politic issue but it mostly happened because of war, debt, and crimes lots of people thought it was wrong. However many other people disagreed.especially north and south their ways of treating and acting towards slaves was very different with some people they were terrible others treated them almost as if they were servants or friends. It was terrible it truly was. | What Was The Cause Of Slavery?

Whats up with the slave trade?Slaveholders traded slaves for money or perhaps better work in their fields. Whites treated blacks or slave holders and slaves like cargo or trash not even close to treating them like humans. The world practiced slavery and in some parts slavery was a punishment for crime in some they were not important so they traded them for money. That's one of the reasons this slave trade thing was so important to slaveholders. However some times they'd trade slaves for valuable and profitable goods. It was terrible. So after they have the slave trade they will go in plantation houses. These were terrible ways to live and i could imagine diseases spread quickly.Disaster or not you had to take a chance on this.Believe it or not some slaves were paid a little wadge for freedom .How ever most slaves did not buy freedom who ever did not end up very happy and most did before slavery. Those who did not buy freedom were taken to the far from perfect plantation homes.they were shipped on a horrible thing called the middle passage it was terrible, dark,so horrible. This slave trade was so important to slave holders however it was a terrible journey for the slaves. | What Happened During The Slave Trade?

Plantation was the hardest, filthiest life a slave could have. They lived in small sheds with dirt floors and with little of no furniture and they worked six days a week with not enough food for an animal to eat.Disease spread quickly.slaves were forced to work in tobacco, cotton fields in the scorching sun.People had to stand over the slaves to make sure the job got done because they often thought they would slack off.Because of their race. They were treated very badly slave or not. After years of working and sweating off their pain, the slaves invented South fueled an economic engine based on tobacco. They would do anything for an easier process. So finally in the 18Th century they did make it easier. However some slaves with the inventive mind did not get to use the great system the prettiest worked in main houses they watched children of the masters however the were under the direction of the planters wife.Again they were treated poorly. But the plantation life was so much more worse. | How Hard Was It To live In A Plantation Houses?

Run,run, run away slaves run to freedom. The underground railroad is what you ask it's a escape system to help slaves go north for freedom. The underground railroad helped so many slaves get to the north for freedom they cant count it would be impossible . But we estimate about 14,000 or at least 100,000 because of all the slaves getting free a new law was turned, slave holders could cross state lines to find slaves of course now it was harder for slaves to run away because of this law slave if they were found] they were taken to court as runaway slaves and forced back into slavery.Because of this law free blacks,African Americans could be forced into slavery. However guess what, some actually lots of lucky slaves got to freedom using the underground railroad. Then some would hide in wagons under hay,or straw, rafts, boats and even pine log they would hide in them disguise and go on mule, horse backs or on trains disguised as white nurses with babies. They would do anything to gain freedom. Some slaves were granted little freedom by their masters some people hid in houses.Another interesting fact most of them took the routes of west Pennsylvania ,Ohio,Indiana. They would do anything for freedom and the less riskier it was the safer and better it was that was the route they took to freedom. As you can see slavery was hard and they needed a way to get out.Slavery now I know it really was a dark timwe in history | Run,Run,Runaway Slaves! | Handy hint!Slaves were treated bad because of their race.
