S: Dallin Wayne March 2010 to March 2011
FC: "Hi, I'm Dallin. I'm 3!"
When I turned 3, I thought it was awesome. I liked everything about being 3...in fact, it became my favorite number...and for a whole year I got to do all the things that 3 year-olds do. ****** Favorite Food: Cheesy noodles Favorite restaurant: Cheesy Noodle Place Favorite show: Mickey Mouse Club House (or any shows on numbers 3-3 and 1-2-0) Favorite color: green Favorite item: blankie Favorite game: Memory Favorite toy: Blue ambulance or anything with wheels. ****** Some things I said when I was 3: "Daddy...you get up...go potty...get me chocolate milk...turn on Mickey Mouse...go shower...go to work" While at Target.... Dad: (to mom) you're just going to be over by the curtains? Mom: Yeah Dad: okay, I'm going over to electronics...Dallin, you come with me. Mom: Dallin go with dad... Me: Ohhhh....'cause we both have penises..... What I say whenever I do something wrong... "Mom/dad I'm SO sorry...I shouldn't be naughty...I shouldn't have (fill in naughty behavior here)...but sometimes, it just happens" "Mom...I need to tell you something...." (usually followed by telling mom something I did wrong.) "My dad has to go to work to earn more money so I can go on more rides" After killing dad while playing swords..."Oh no, dad's dead...now who is going to make money for us?" In primary... Mister Lago: Who knows a song about families? Me: I do. Me and my mom and dad we are a family when I was born. Mister Lago: Who knows a song about prayer? Me: I know a song about prayer. When we pray to have a baby....yeah, but it takes a long time.
Easter 2010 Being 3 meant I got to color my Easter eggs all by myself. I chose green for most of my eggs. On Easter, the Easter bunny came and hid eggs filled with candy. I was old enough to find my eggs all by myself. He also left me presents in my Easter basket and some golf clubs.
When Easter came it meant that spring was here and the weather was warm enough to play outside. The spring I was 3, I had visits from Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Jones. I played lots more outside and rode my bike whenever I could.
Soccer 2010 "The Robots" | 3 year-olds are big enough to play soccer, so this year, I played soccer for the first time. Jonah and Brock were on my team. I didn't really want to play the first few games...but pretty soon I loved soccer, and the "rectangle doughnut" I got after the game if I stayed on the field whenever "coach" asked me.
 _____________________________________________________________ | Thompson Family
At the end of May, we went to Las Vegas to meet my new cousin Blake. It was fun to play with my Larson cousins and to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Thompson in St. George.
Caution-Work Zone Mom and dad did lots of construction on our house when I was 3. Since I was 3, and had my own tools, I got to help do lots of things to help with the construction. But sometimes, instead of helping, I just hid upstairs and watched 3 year-old shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Mom thought it would be fun to have a weekly outing with my friends to help enjoy the summer months. Every week we got together and played...sometimes we would go somewhere, and sometimes we would hang out at my house. No matter what we did, we had a great time.
I have been going to Gymboree since I was 18 months old. When I turned 3, I was old enough to go without mom. I started going to the sports class. I learned how to play lots of different sports like baseball, soccer, golf and basketball. During the summer, I got to practice all the sports I learned at Gymboree in my very own backyard. | I always loved when my Uncle Don would come over and play with me. He was always ready to help me bat and to improve my golf swing.
For the 4th of July, we spent the weekend with the Hanks. We went to a parade, played lots of games and waved sparklers around...I loved it all!
 Summertime at the pool!
Last year, because I was only 2, I had to take swimming lessons with mom. This year, I got to take lessons all by myself. Actually, I took lessons with my friends. I learned how to float on my back (with help), put my head under the water and jump in from the edge. I had so much fun, mom took me to the pool a lot so I could practice. Sometimes we brought friends with us so I could show them all my tricks.
One of my favorite things to do in the summer was to go into the mountains with Trey and Kevin and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. I got to explore in the woods, throw rocks in the river and roast food over a big fire. Sometimes I would ask mom if we could go up every night...
Park City Mountain Resort | What a beautiful view!
On labor day we went to Park City to ride on the alpine slide. I went on a chair lift for the first time, then rode the slide with dad. I wanted to go faster and faster. | After the slide, I got to ride on some kiddie rides. It was a super fun family day.
My First Day Of Pre-School | Pre
I was so excited to finally be old enough to go to school. I had a very fun first day meeting new friends and my new teachers Miss Millet and Miss Connie. After school, I got to have lunch with mom and dad at my favorite restaurant The Cheesy Noodle Place.
The Influence Of A Good Teacher Can Never Be Erased | Picking my cubby for the day. | Treasure Map. | My first homework assignment. | This year in preschool, I got to do lots of fun things. I did my first homework assignment, had my first school program, and even made my very own treasure map.
I also went on my very first field trip. We even got to ride on a bus. Mom came with me. We went to the "bird place". My favorite part was riding on the bus...but acting like a flamingo was pretty fun too!
 MAKING MEMORIES
Larson cousins I spent a weekend with Grandma Thompson while mom and dad went to Las Vegas. Hailey, Blake and Carter stopped by for a visiit while I was there.
Utah State Fair | Hogle Zoo
 Happy Halloween | October 2010
This year we spent Thanksgiving in Seattle. I loved playing at Grandma's, having lunch at Great Uncle Ken's bakery, walking in the ocean and then playing in the snow.
When the snow finally came to our house I was very excited...it was fun the first few days, then it just kept me from being able to ride my bike. I did love to help shovel and because I was 3...I got my very own...then I was a big help at snow removal.
There's always lots to do in December. This year I got to help decorate the tree again, and I made a chain to count the days till Santa came. I also got to fill my advent train with chocolates. Because the weather was cold, Mom bought me a new warm coat, green of course, and new hats to keep my head warm. I had hot chocolate for the first time, and it became my new favorite treat...especially if it had little marshmallows. This year, I went on my first hay ride to see some Christmas lights, baby Aiden came with us. And of course I went to see Santa so I could tell him what to bring me.
On Christmas Eve I got to open the presents in my Christmas Eve box. Grandma Bonnie made me new pjs. I also got a new game and a DVD with really funny Mickey Mouse cartoons. Before bed I made Santa some chocolate milk and put cookies on a plate, in case he was hungry when he got to my house. Then I found the perfect spot to leave his treats.
Christmas Morning After a quick picture on the stairs, I ran to see if Santa ate my treats...he did. Then on to presents...Santa did not disappoint.
All I want for Christmas is a blue ambulance with doors on the back that open and close."
"Look mom....I'm strong, just like dad" | January 2011
I love my dad, and I was so excited to help mom throw him a birthday party.
Arts and Crafts -to pass the winter months-
To keep us entertained when it was snowing and cold, mom found lots of fun things for us to make. My favorite...dinosaurs.
 March 30, 2011 Birthday Morning | 4
For my birthday, I wanted to go to "the bouncy place" with Jonah. We had a lot of fun and even went to "Old McDonalds" for lunch. For dinner I wanted to go to the Cheesecake Factory, "because I love cheesecake" (really I just love the cream). After some yummy cheesy noodles and a whole bowl of cream, me and dad tried out my new scooter and took a ride around the block.
 I wasn't really sure I wanted to turn 4... I had a really good year being 3, but after such a fun day... I think I'm gonna like being 4! | 4
For my party I wanted to do trucks-construction trucks. Mom let me pick out the decorations and I even helped make the cake. At my party we made a tool box, played "duck duck truck" and pin the stop sign at the construction site.
I did it...I survived being 3. I learned to do a lot of new things...I learned hundreds of new words...and even though I wasn't sure about turning 4...when the time came, I was ready to move on. Besides, if being 3 was this great...4 can only be better...right?
