1: The giant panda can be located in many zoos, but mostly live on the continent of Asia , in the country of China. The scientific name for the giant panda is ailuropoda melanoleuca. The domain that the giant panda belongs to is Eukaryota, and belongs to the kingdom known as Animalia.

2: In the giant panda's ecosystem, there is much bamboo, and during the winters, giant pandas have to deal with very cool climates.

3: The way the giant panda interacts with a biotic factor in its ecosystem, is by eating it. One biotic factor in the giant panda's ecosystem is bamboo, which is what the giant panda mostly eats.

4: Giant pandas used to live in hilly ravines, but were forced to move into mountains. Giant pandas now mostly live in mountains and/or trees.

5: The main reason giant pandas are endangered, is because of habitat loss for agriculture. | As of now, there are less than 2,500 mature giant pandas left in the wild.

6: A few things that are being done to increase the giant panda's population, is creating protection laws that are against killing the giant panda.

7: Still, there are many people killing giant pandas for their fur. | Also, it is said that more than 2.6 million acres are being reserved to protect giant pandas.

8: The Chinese call the giant panda bear "Big Bear Cat." | Giant pandas can grow to be nearly 250 pounds.
