FC: An English Immigrant's Journey
1: This is my hometown of Liverpool, England, where I live with my wife and children.
2: These are pictures of the hotel where I work in Liverpool as a maintenance man. I wish for a better life for my family so we are leaving for America.

7: My family and other arrivals lined up in the reception hall to be processed. | After being processed, we all underwent medical exams.
8: This is the neighborhood in New York City, where we lived with many other immigrants. I found a maintenance job at a beautiful hotel, maybe one day I'll be manager.
9: Many years later, I am working at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City as an assistant manager. We are moving to our brand new home soon, my family is so proud of me.
10: The kids are in school now and I got my wife a part-time job at the hotel.
11: This is a photo of me. I am now manager of the hotel. Life is good, God Bless America.
