S: Breanne's Journey to Home Ownership - January 24, 2012

BC: Breanne - We hope you enjoy your new home. We are so glad everything fell into place to make this happen for you. We hope that you will always be able to look back on the days you spent in the first home you owned with nothing but great and happy memories of Webster, family and friends. With all our love, Mom & Dad | Amid pleasures and palaces though we may roam, Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.

FC: Breanne's Journey to Home Ownership | 2329 KEEP PLACE COLUMBUS, OHIO

1: THE MOVE TO BOSTON After graduating from Miami University in 2004, Breanne got her first "real" job in Peabody, MA. That September, she moved to Boston to work for Saucony

2: 7 BEVERLY COMMONS #23; BEVERLY, MA After a frantic search to find an apartment before she started her job, Breanne took Dad's advise and settled into a second-floor, one-bedroom "modern" apartment in a suburban setting. Even though this apartment was close to work and to Aunt Beth & Uncle Mike (in Lynn, MA), she never really liked it there.

4: BOSTON / NEW ENGLAND Even though Breanne didn't enjoy living in the suburbs, she did enjoy the adventure of being in a new area of the country and she did a lot of exploring while she lived there. It also gave her family a place to go for "free" vacations.

6: THE MOVE TO 87 DEXTER, WATERTOWN, MA In 2005, Saucony moved its HQ building to Lexington, MA. This gave Breanne her opportunity to move out of suburbia and into an urban environment. She soon found a duplex apartment to rent in Watertown, MA. Dad moved her in on March 30, 2006. This beautiful old home, built in 1920, gave Breanne a chance to spread her decorating wings.

8: THE MOVE TO 1062 NEIL AVENUE COLUMBUS, OHIO In July of 2006, Breanne resigned from Saucony with intentions of moving back to Ohio. She resigned on a Monday and four days later she got a call from The Ohio State University, offering her a job in the Athletic Department. On August 11th, Dad showed up in Watertown with the moving truck and they were back in Strongsville on the 12th. On the 14th, Breanne and Dad went to Columbus to find an apartment. Breanne wanted to find a place like she had in Watertown, but similar apartments in Columbus were way too expensive. On the 15th, Breanne signed a lease on a one-bedroom apartment in a house (Built circa 1890) in Victorian Village. Mom & Dad moved her in on August 22nd and Breanne set out to fix up the place as best she could.

10: Breanne's working for OSU had its advantages.....

11: Being in Columbus did too (Including finding Webster there)

12: THE TRANSITION TO HOME OWNERSHIP Breanne eventually left OSU but stayed in Columbus with Webster. After a lengthy search for a new place to live, Breanne had Dad travel to Columbus on January 23, 2012 to look at a condominium that just went on the market. Breanne put in a bid the next day. Because another bidder was interested, Breanne had to put in her "final & best" offer on the 26th. On January 30th, Breanne was informed that she was the high bidder and that she would soon be a First-Time Home Owner. She closed the sale on February 24th and she moved in and spent her first night in her new home on March 2, 2012. Dad spent two weeks with Breanne fixing up her new home and he helped her move in. (Breanne hired Two Men & A Truck to move the heavy stuff, however!) | 2329 KEEP PLACE COLUMBUS, OHIO
