1: What might you see if you went to the zoo? | you could see a zebra,

2: or a llama, | or two.

3: There are kodiaks, | and polars,

4: grizzlies, and more bears...

5: ...even pandas from Asia, with black & white hair.

6: You might see koalas,

7: turtles, and snakes... | or ducklings and ducks afloat on a lake.

8: You could see an otter on water or land, | or a rainbow lizard as big as your hand.

9: big cassowaries, | All kinds of birds live at the zoo:

10: greater rheas, | and little birds, too.

11: You could see a hippo, who comes up for air,

12: or a big garden spider, who's just hanging there.

13: or a stork flap his wings in mid-summer bliss. | You could see flamingoes | give each other a kiss,

14: stand up on her feet, | You might see a meerkat

15: or rhinos and tortoises out in the heat.

16: You might see orangutans alone or in pairs,

17: or a gorilla who sits and gives you a stare.

18: porcupine, | Could you see a | gator,

19: or giraffe?

20: Only after you've seen the elephant laugh.!

21: Sometimes the big cats get tired of the fun,

22: so they stretch, and yawn, | and sleep in the sun.

23: Brady, what else might you see if you went to the zoo?

24: A whole bunch of people, who really love you.
