Once upon a time there was a little girl named Beyonce.

Beyonce lived in a tribe called the Masai.

Kenya is located on the coast of the Indian Ocean. And the Masai tribe is located below Lake Victoria.

Beyonce lives with her mother and her two sisters in a hut.

They have about half a million people that occupy their land in 16,000 square Kilometers. The Masai is compressed into sixteen sections. Beyonce, her mother and older sisters are responsible for making their house. as well as supplying water, collecting firewood, milking the cattle and cooking for her family because they had little money.

Beyonce's family and the people in her tribe believe in a god they call Ngai. They believe that Ngai is the creator of everything. They say that one day Ngai and the earth were one and Ngai owned all the cattle. But one day he separated the earth and sky.

Missionaries came to their tribe one day and started to teach them about Jesus. Beyonce was very intrigued in what they were preaching about. After they were done Beyonce went up to the missionaries and asked them to tell her more about Jesus.

The missionaries were very nice to her and told her all about Jesus Christ. Beyonce became a believer, but her mother and sisters didn't believe because they thought the missionaries were bad people. They thought that the missionaries were liars.

Beyonce tried to get her mother to believe in Jesus. But her mother wouldn't. Her mother wouldn't let Beyonce believe so Beyonce ran away.

At first, Beyonce didn't know where to go. So she began to think. Her and her family lived in Kisumu so she started heading towards Eldoret.

Though she had to go through hot weather and sand storms due to the sand, Beyonce finally found a place to stay. A small hut had been abandoned due to other Masai's being forced out of their home.

Due to the skills she had learned from her mom and sisters, Beyonce didn't have a hard time living on her own. Since corn was Beyonce's favorite food, she tried to find that most of the time.

Beyonce would get scared from time to time but she knew Jesus was right there next to her through it all. She saw a butterfly and decided to name is Jesus. She knew the butterfly would fly away but Christ would never leave her side.

As the years went on, she got stronger and stronger. Physically and spiritually. She developed skills that lasted her a lifetime. Such as knowing how to hunt.

Even though Beyonce missed her family very much, she loved The Lord with her whole heart. She eventually received a Bible and began reading it everyday. Beyonce ended up growing up and meeting a very nice boy. They had kids and she began teaching them about the gospel. Her life was fulfilled by knowing Christ.
