FC: Emmanuel with his older brother Benyamin.

1: Emmanuel and his family in the happy days. Before the holocaust came. | Emmanuel as a baby with his two parents. | Emmanuel was born July 7th, 1930

3: Then 1940 came the S.S came and destroyed everything and this was the start of the ghettos.

4: The Ghettos that Emmanuel and his family had lived in before the deportations.

6: The deportations was hard on Madame Schachter who was separated from her husband and older son.

7: Madame Schachter only had Emmanuel her 10 year old son left.

8: Emmanuel had to watch over his mother when they were being deported to Auschwitz. | Madame Schachter was going crazy when they were being deported. She kept saying "fire" when there was no fire

9: ''Work makes one free."

10: The main gates of Auschwitz.

11: People getting off the trains to enter Auschwitz.

13: 1944, Madame Schacter and Emmanuel got off the train and were headed for the gas chambers.

14: Madame Schachter and Emmanuel died in the gas chambers in Auschwitz. They were lost but not forgotten.
