FC: My Life in Short By: Michael R. | Snowboarding for First Time and Loving It | Still Need to Work on It

 Table of Contents | Dedication....................pg2 Setting....................pg3 Internal Conflict....................pg4 Mood..................pg5 Theme....................pg6 Static character....................pg7 Climax....................pg8

Dedication I'd like to dedicate this to my sister for getting me hooked on snowboarding and helping me to learn how to snowboard. Thank You Colleen!

Setting | The setting was Jack Frost Mountain December 18, 2008. There was light snow but the sun was still shining. There was a light breeze, yet it was freezing cold which made me happy I wore two sweatshirts. | The surroundings or environment of a story

Internal Conflict | Disagreement or conflict within ones self | The internal conflict in my story is that I wasn't going to just strap on a snowboard and start riding like a pro. I had to learn from my mistakes and as they say "try try again".

Mood | A state or quality of feeling at a particular time | It was loud, cold, and had a lively atmosphere but for me it was tough and rough. Mostly because all I did for the first hour was fall on my butt. Yet it got better as I practiced.

Practice makes perfect that's my theme and just like it's stated practice does make perfect. It took me awhile but once I got the hang of it it wasn't perfect but it was definitely better. | Theme | The topic of a story

Static Character | My dad was a static character because he didn't change he always thought it would be hard for me to get used to snowboarding. Unlike me who thought I'd snowboard right away when I had to work on it. | a literary character who remains basically unchanged throughout a work

Climax | I did it I made it down the mountain without falling once. This feels so awesome. It just goes to show practice makes perfect and you should always try try again. | the highest or most intense point in the development of a story

 The End
