This photo of some storm clouds taken in the spring of 2011 in Broomfield, Colorado. Kaliadoscopes were each created from the enhanced photo below and the following tale ensued. Pam

The One The One lived in the heavens and saw the Many down below. The Many had grown to cover the land. The One was lonely.

Tri-Union One decided to duplicate itself for companionship. The process was so easy, One did it again. The Many continued to grow.

Four Corners One ignored the companionship it created and set out to duplicate itself again. One was jealous of the Many and the differences they had.

Centered Out One tried different ways to recreate itself so each copy was different. Soon, One forgot why it started recreating and was caught up in creating.

Centered In One realized that being among others was not enough. One searched its creations to share everything with Another.

Four Square One began to interact with each creation, searching for the right one. Not only did One create different looks, each creation had different personalities.

Duplicated Efforts As One went from each creation to another it discovered there were more than One had created. One realized... Another had been creating as well.

Comfort in Many One soon realized that One was now Many. Many in the heavens were not like Many on the land and One was comforted by this achievment.

Too Many to Count One continued its search for Another.

There were just too many and One was becoming discouraged.

One Another When One finally found Another, the very heavens glowed with a new emotion. Happiness. One was not lonely anymore.

One and Another began their time together by learning about each other's differences. | Together

They also spent time apart, marveling in their happiness when together again. | Apart

Happiness for One Another had been found. The heavens and earth were as they should be.

Never again would one be too many.
