FC: Ryan | deserved it | By Danielle DeJardin

 Ryan | deserved it

Ryan was born on June 2, 1991. I was born two years later on April 14. | 1

When my parents took me home, I took Ryan's room. He deserved it. | 2

During summer we went to Wisconsin Dells. Ryan was annoying me when I was playing in the water. | 3

To make him stop, I attacked him and hit him in the head with my cup that I was using to transfer water. He deserved it. | 4

Ryan was being bossy while we were playing outside. | 5

So...I wouldn't play with him anymore. I went inside to do more important things. He deserved it. | 6

I was messing with Momma's makeup in the bathroom. Daddy caught me. | 7

I got sent to my room crying. Daddy felt bad for me, so he let me take a sticker off Ryan's wall. He deserved it. | 8

We went to the deer park in Wisconsin Dells. Momma gave both me and Ryan crackers. | 9

I didn't feed my cracker to the deer, I ate it. Ryan had to give his away. He deserved it. | 10

I liked to play with the dogs. I would feed them by throwing their food down the hallway and watching them chase it. | 11

Ryan tried to get involved. The dogs attacked him instead of the food. He deserved it. | 12

I was the flower girl and Ryan was the ring bearer in Aunt Kelly's wedding. But I was too afraid to walk down the aisle by myself. | 13

Ryan came back and held my hand the whole way down. When the ceremony was over, I gave Ryan a hug. He deserved it. | 14

Danielle M. DeJardin was only 17 when she wrote this book. She grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and attended Ashwaubenon High School. Danielle spent most of her free time reading. However, she also enjoyed being outside and spending time with her family and friends. The inspiration for this story comes from real experiences she had with her older brother Ryan. They spent all their time with each other when they were children. Whether they were fighting or hugging, Danielle and Ryan did it together. No matter how they acted or what they said, the siblings let the other know how much they cared. | About | the Author
