One day a little Vietnamese girl named Kim decided that she wanted to make a garden in an abandoned lot.
She decided she wanted to plant lima beans
Meanwhile Kim's neighbor Ana saw Kim in the lot and she was suspicious.
She saw Kim burying something and she thought it was something bad.
Ana went to the lot when Kim left and dug up what she buried.
But it was only three lima bean seeds with sprouts sticking out of them. Ana felt terrible that she dug them up so she planted them write back where she found them.
Wendell the man who lives below Ana was sleeping and woke up to Ana calling him on the phone saying "Get up here quick!" She wanted him to go to her room to see what Kim had done in the lot. Ana told Wendell that she had dug up the seeds Kim planted because she thought it was something else. She wanted him to take care of them.
So he just solved the problem because he knew Ana was upset she dug up the seeds. So he took care of them by replanting them, watering them and, putting down fresh soil.
While all this was happening,Leona was not happy.
She thought the garden shouldn't have been in the lot with all that trash.
So she decided to call someone to pick it all up to make that garden look appealing to the eye.
She was on hold for so long that finally she snapped and said "I'll do it my self". And she did. She picked up the trash like a responsible adult.
The garden was so clean it made it look like it was like an actual garden. Well not really because it was in a lot.
A friendly man named Sam was delighted to see the garden. He just smiled and smiled. Thats what he was best at, just smiling.
Sam was just strolling along one day and he saw the garden. But it was very odd. All the members of the garden were all separate from one another. Sam thought to himself "Well that's just not right" and he knew it wasn't.
So Sam just did what he did best and that's being friendly and smiling. To Sam, smiling was a way of saying that you aren't prejudice or discriminative towards others. And then everyone just started talking and being friendly to one another.
And in the end, the garden became even bigger and everyone treated each other fairly and like a community.
And everyone made something so small and not much into something that changed other people's way of thinking towards others. The End
