S: Australia - February 2009 | Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb Australia - February 2009
Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb | In February 2009, Andy and I went to visit Casey, who was studying abroad in Sydney, Australia. It was the trip of a lifetime to a stunningly beautiful country.
The boat cruise to Manly Wharf provided great views of the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
 Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb
 Fun in Sydney
 Bondi Beach
We met up with Jana in Sydney, then went to the popular club, Ivy. Thanks to my "hot" outfit, we were chosen to skip to the front of the line.
After a few days in Sydney, we took a trip within our trip to Cairns. We booked a skyride to the Daintree Rainforest, where we saw some beautiful scenery, as well as several massive spiders just roaming out in the wild.
While in Kuranda, we visited a small zoo where we could feed kangaroos and hold a koala. We got up close and personal with "Princess."
We took the train back Cairns and spent the next day just relaxing. We walked the Esplanade, tried some Vegemite (yuck) and laid out in the sun. Casey's warnings about the power of he sun went unheeded, resulting in a horrid sunburn for yours truly.
Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Cairns
Dancing on tables at the WOOLSHED. Oz favorites included Lady Gaga and the Kings of Leon.
Port Douglas and the Mossman Gorge
