S: Walt Disney World 2009
This book barely contains the memories we created on our first real family vacation. I had been wanting to take the girls to Disney World since they were born and we finally decided it was time. We planned for 6 months and it was an amazing trip. The magic, wonder, and delight in their eyes was pure bliss. We can't wait to go back again!
We first arrived at Disney World in the afternoon and had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe--Bella's favorite restaurant. Then we headed over to our hotel and checked in. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort in a Pirate Room. The beds looked like ships and the curtain dividing the bedroom from the bathroom had a pirate skull on it. We loved it! The we headed over to Shades of Green to get our tickets and found a really cool Patriotic Mickey! | ArrghRoom Matey!
Our first night at Disney World we went to the Boardwalk. It was so beautiful. We looked at all of the Christmas decorations. Then we checked in for our dinner and watched the ducks play in the water. Right before we went in to eat, we met a nice man who raced Bella on his motor scooter and then gave both of the girls a Disney pin!
We had a wonderful dinner at the new restaurant at Disney called Kouzzina by Cat Cora! We were so happy to be on vacation and the food was soo yummy! Bella even got to make a dessert pizza at then end!
Dumbo!! We got to Magic Kingdom before Rope Drop and did the Dumbo Dash! Dumbo is the shortest ride with the longest line so you must do it first and we did! It was our first ride and we had a blast! Bella rode with Daddy and Lily rode with Mommy! We wanted to ride again but the line was too long and we had so many more rides calling our name! | Dumbo
Under the Sea! Actually we got to meet Ariel in her Grotto! We arrived just a little early and were one of the first to meet her. She was very nice and made the girls feel very special! Lily was afraid at first but eventually warmed up to her. I think Bella was shocked to meet her, as this was the first character she had met and Ariel is her absolute favorite. It was a very special experience!
Our first day we decided to stay for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! We had a great time! We saw the castle transformed into an ice castle by Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother and we met Minnie Mouse all dressed up in her finest holiday clothes. We also watched part of the Christmas parade and rode many extra rides. It was a late but fun first day and night!
Our 2nd day we spent at Epcot. We ran to Soarin' and Bella really loved it, especially smelling the oranges! Lily was too short to ride so she took turns riding Living with the Land with Mommy and Daddy while the other was riding with Bella. Next we hopped into a "clammobile" and rode the Nemo ride and then we watched one of our new favorite shows, "Turtle Talk with Crush." After that, Bella and Daddy had Mickey Mouse ice cream bars and Lily and Mommy shared a giant pickle.
Princesses Galore We had a special lunch planned while we were at Epcot at the Akerhus Castle in Norway! We arrive a little early for our reservation so we explored some of the shops and Bella and I found some fun viking hats to wear! Finally our name was called and we were seated. Bella and Lily didn't really know what to expect , but about 20 minutes into our meal the Princesses started coming. First Aurora came and then a few minutes later she was followed by Cinderella and then Mary Poppins and finally Snow White. Bella's face was priceless. So many princesses at one time in the same place, she just couldn't believe it! Little did she know the next surprise coming her way!
This is such a great memory for us. The girls were so exhausted right after we had dinner with the princesses. However, as we were leaving the park, we saw Mulan in China with no line! I couldn't pass that up, so I just wheeled them over had their picture taken and their pillowcases signed! Bella has no memory, but Jason and I had a great laugh over it!
 A Royal Date
The morning before this special evening, the girls woke up to a special package near the bed. When they opened it they found a note from Cinderella inviting them to a royal banquet and two beautiful dresses to wear. It was a very special night topped off with Lily taking a special liking to the evil step-mother!
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes... | 1900 Park Fair Happily Ever After Dinner
This is our third day of vacation and our 2nd day at Magic Kingdom! The early mornings were starting to catch up with us but we had a busy day ahead! First we were on a mission to find Tinker Bell and her friends, then we were meeting up with Grandnana and PopPop!at Animal Kingdom.
 Lilyis as Cute As A
We arrived at Pixie Hollow right when they opened and it was busy! We got in line and found out that in order to meet Tinker Bell we had to shrink down to about 4 inches to be her size. After they sprinkled us with Pixie Dust we were taken into a room all by ourselves to meet Rosetta, Tinker Bell and Terrance. Lily was very nervous and upset but Bella was in heaven until it was time to meet Terrance. She didn't want any part of him, so mommy had her picture taken with him!
After meeting the Fairies we headed over to Animal Kingdom to find GrandNana and PopPop. The girls fell asleep on the bus and it took them awhile to wake up again. We had lunch and watched a favorite show-- Flights of Wonder. Then we took the girls over to see the Tree of Life and watch It's Tough to Be A Bug.
 Bella Loves Simba
While we were at Magic Kingdom we caught the special Princess and the Frog Parade! Bella was so excited to see it!
Our Favorite Magic Kingdom Thrill Rides-- Splash Mountain Thunder Mountain Pirates of the Caribbean
Date Night! Grandnana and PopPop had fun with Bella and Lily while Jason and I had a fun night to celebrate my birthday and our 5th anniversary. We had dinner in Tokyo, where they made me an origami flower for my birthday and an origami heart for our anniversary. They also sang a unique version of the Birthday Song for me! Then, we walked around Epcot and enjoyed a boat ride over to the Boardwalk to have some fun at Jellyrolls. It was a perfect night!
Our Second day with the grandparents we slept in and had a late breakfast at the Grand Floridian. It is so beautiful there. I made special matching shirts for everyone and I thought we looked so cute. We received many complements throughout the day on our adorable shirts, too! There are some neat cars and carriages outside the resort so we took some photos while we waited on our table. A special photo that we took is similar to one that mom and dad had taken 10 years prior on another visit to Walt Disney World. Wow, how times have changed!

Mom and Dad had to head over to Animal Kingdom to get their tickets and Jason wasn't feeling well, so the girls and I went to Epcot on our own do explore Innoventions. We had a lot of fun with Velcro and pigs! When Mom and Dad got there we just had to do the Great Piggy Bank Adventure again with them. Then we went to play with the fire truck and look at all of the other neat things there. After that, we headed over to the Living Seas to see Nemo and friends and take Grandnana and PopPop to see our new favorite show, Turtle Talk with Crush--they loved it! Jason met up with us after that and explored the shark play area with the girls. Then we headed over to the Coral Reef restaurant for our early dinner.
On our walk from dinner to the Candlelight Processional. We found 2 great characters. , Alice and Mary Poppins! Bella insisted on stopping, so her grandparents obliged, while I went to wait in line for the show and Jason took Lily for a walk. As you can see, Bella was over the moon!

The next morning we had breakfast with Grandnana and PopPop and said our goodbyes. | We had a lot of fun with them, but it was time for our last day of fun at Disney World! We were off to Hollywood Studios!
Bella loved meeting Pluto! Lily was nervous, so she stayed back, but Bella ran up and gave him a great big hug!
We Finally Meet Mickey! | All week I had been planning on meeting Mickey at Magic Kingdom, but it just didn't happen. However, I remembered a little tip I had read about meeting Mickey at the Studios and how to be 1st in line! So at the right time we got in line and voila, we were first. That meant that Mickey came and escorted Bella out of the line all the way over to the picture taking place! I was thrilled to the point of tears. Bella, on the other hand, was a little nervous and not sure what to think! It was quite a memory either way!
Our absolute favorite ride was Toy Story Midway Mania! It was a really fun ride that all of us could enjoy! It had the longest wait, but I made sure we had fast passes and we were able to ride it 3 times! We wish we could have ridden it more!
The Great Movie Ride | This ride holds a special place in my heart. I worked here while I was in college and loved it. I was so excited to bring my family here! The girls loved it and especially liked the part where the tour guide reappears and munchkinland! It is a great memory for me!
We ate dinner at the 50's Prime Time Diner. It was very fun, but a little embarrassing. They treat you like "family" and give you an old fashioned hard time. They even made Bella clean up after Lily's mess. They brought her the broom and all! We loved our server --"Aunt Jeannie"-- and she even gave us her address to send her the pictures!
This is one of the many moments that made the trip "priceless!"We had an amazing trip and the smiles on their faces say it all...!
