FC: Cedar Point, Ohio by: Willy Haeuser
Last summer my sister, my dad, my cousin, and I went to Cedar Point Ohio, and it was probably the most fun place I have ever been. I learned a very valuable lesson of patience and about how I should live my life with patience and about how my family showed patience on our trip. When I went to Cedar Point the first thing my family did was to start off at the ferris wheel. We wanted to get an overview of the theme park to see where the coolest, biggest, and most terrifying rides there were in this brobdingnagian theme park.
On the Ferris wheel we saw the High Speed Dragster. On the High Speed Dragster the roller coaster zips way high on a giant red ramp at over one hundred miles per hour! This overwhelmed my family so we decided to get in line.
Being in that line for three hours got us to about the front line, then the loudspeaker went on saying that there was a problem with the roller coaster, and it may be awhile before it's fixed. We were stunned just thinking that we wasted all that time and we may not be able to ride on the HighSpeed Dragster. We decided to wait it out though because this is the best roller coaster in the theme park, and we may never get a chance to ever ride it in our lifetime. Sure enough, after waiting for one more hour they got it fixed and we got to ride on the fastest roller coaster in the world. After this experience I realized how patient my family was when waiting to get on the ride and spending more than half the time we were there waiting to get on it.
After that we were walking and talking about how amazing the Dragster was, saying how fun and scary it was to go at that speed up a huge swirly ramp. Then we were going to the Gigantic Drop. On our way over there we crossed a bridge and got smacked by a huge wave! We were all wondering what had hit us and we found out it was from a water ride under us. We were laughing about how bad of our timing was, and how every thing we had on us was soaked and how embarrassing it was. We didn't mind though. The good thing was that no one was mad about it even though it could have drowned our fun for the rest of the day. Even though people were laughing at us, we just laughed too. At this moment I learned it doesn't matter if someone laughs at you for doing something embarrassing. You don't have to be angry about it; you could laugh with them and just have fun with it. My family showed patience in this situation too by not complaining about getting wet because some people would let that ruin their whole day.
Next, we headed to the Gigantic Drop. There are two types of this ride:going up really fast and down slowly, or going up slowly and down really fast. After this we decided to head home from the greatest theme park in the world. From this experience going to Cedar Point, Ohio I learned that my family is very patient even if it was spending most of our time waiting for one ride. I also learned that if something that could ruin your day happened to you;just make the best of the situation.

All I want for Christmas is ...
Like friends, It's the Old Ornaments that mean the most.
"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, How could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." ~ Dr. Seuss
"Although it's been said, many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you!"
