FC: family vacation
Meeting the Mouse | A breakfast with Mickey and Friends is always fun. We were lucky enough to eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.
Both Blake and Brianne wore their ears throughout the trip. | Both of the kids made their own customized Mickey ears. They picked out the middle piece, then ears, patches, etc. It was topped off with embroidered names in the back.
Goofy | Minnie Mouse | Pluto | Donald
Mickey Mouse | Brianne loved getting autographs. She hugged and loved on every character. | Blake had fun too. He got his picture taken with every character that came to the table.
Brianne got a princess makeover inside Cinderella's castle. Her Fairy Godmother in Training was only 748 years old, but she still did a really great job!. Brianne really felt like a princess, and she even refused to take off the dress before going to bed. This was definitely one of the highlights of her trip.
Blake was chosen to participate in a Jedi Training Academy that ended in a lightsaber duel with Darth Vader. It was a neat stage show that lasted almost a half hour. Blake had a knack for being in the right place at the right time, and he got one of the last spots of the day.
 Jedi Training Academy
This was a really neat ride at Disney Hollywood Studios. The inside was decorated just like Andy's room. It was as if you were a toy too. The kids really enjoyed the wait in line almost as much as the ride itself.
A giant game of SORRY!! | Mom won the games! Dad was not too impressed. | Mr. Potato Head played games with the people waiting in line. He was really funny!
 Snow White
 Green Army Men
 Summertime! | Chef Mickey's
Bruce the Shark lives in the Living Seas pavilion at Epcot Center. You can climb right in his mouth. The kids had a ball! There is a cool interactive show called Turtle Talk with Crush and a new ride that lets you explore the reef just like Dori and Marlin. | Finding Nemo
I Pledge Allegiance..... Blake was asked to say the Pledge during the daily ceremony of taking down the flag. He did a really good job. The Main Street band played and the Barbershop Quartet sang. This is a really special honor, because only one visitor every day gets to participate.
Dinner and dessert were awesome. The kids hobnobbed with all of the princesses. Truth be told, they didn't eat much, but it was really a neat experience to eat upstairs in the castle. | Cinderella's Castle is a pretty awesome place at night. The castle changes color every few minutes after dark.

 It's a Bug's Life

Brianne and Mom went to the Beauty and the Beast show while Dad and Blake rode Rock n' Rollercoaster. It was a great show. Brianne really enjoyed watching the show. Her favorite part was the dancing, of course. She thought it would be fun to wear the sparkly outfits and be up on stage.
Parade Time | Disney Hollywood Studios
Brianne couldn't wait to ride the carousel, but Blake was NOT so thrilled. | A Spin on Cinderella's Carousel
