S: Disney World 2011
FC: September 2011
Made For Molly and Nolen. I hope you remember this trip forever. With Love. ~Mom~ | Memories 2011
We were told at check in, to always have our "Key to the World" with us at all times. We got to the first park, and Molly forgot hers and had to have a replacement made. | Admit 1 | MEGAN WEIER
 Our Room
Our new home for the next 4 days was the "Disney Movie" Resort. The pool out side our room was all about the "Mighty Ducks".
Our first attempt at a roller coaster. Just as we entered the tunnel and things became dark, Nolen backed out. So he and grandma sat this one out. Good thing they did, it was scary, but fun and exciting all at the same time. As we were going upside down my fear was Molly was going to loose her glasses or I would loose something out of our bag. | Aerosmith
Disney Channel is one of Molly's favorite channels to watch. Everyone was dancing to the music as they came down the street.
3 | We are all hot & tired from standing in line, we can't wait to eat either...
We shrunk to the size of toys to play Toy Story's 4D Midway Mania.
Day 1 | Adventure play land was so crowed and so VERY HOT. The kids loved playing on the larger then life size backyard.
Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater | Our first dinner was in a convertible. Nolen was my date for my anniversary, and Molly was Grandma's date. We watched old cartoons, while we ate, by very dim light. All around us was old time cars made into booth seating. Very cool experience.
Tree of Life @ Discovery Island | Day 2
"A Bug's Life" | A 3D show housed in the root system of the Tree of Life. Some creepy-crawly moments in the dark. Just ask Nolen if he liked it..No he cried during the show!
Our First | Greeting | Winnie the Pooh, Tiger & Eeore all signed our autograph books. Worth the wait! | Day 2
DinoLand U.S.A. | We went on the Dinosaur ride at Dino land. We blasted back 65 million years to save the last dinosaur . During the journey, we had to watch out for other hungry dinosaurs, such as T-Rex, and flaming rocks. It was was a twisting, turning, shaky ride. They took our picture during the ride and all you can see of Nolen & Molly is their hand hanging down , they were ducking from the scary creatures. Boy was it funny to see them hiding!
Going on this tour in search of hunters, was the most exciting part of our day. | We saw the most amazing animals. The tree's with it's roots out of the ground was cool too.
After our safari adventure, we were back just in time to watch the parade at Animal Kingdom. Just as the parade ended, it started to rain. We took shelter at one of the many shops along the path. Once the rain let up, we walked/ran to get autographs of Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Goofy & Donald Duck, which he was already closed by the time we arrived to meet him.
We think Grandma might melt in the rain...
Meeting the Princesses | Nolen was on "CLOUD 9" after his kiss from Belle! He will never wash his cheek again!
Magic Kingdom Parade on Main Street. Getting ready for the big night!
 Ready for Disney
Rides | Space Mountain, Star Wars 3-D, Tea Cups, just a few of the many rides we went on. On the Star war simulation, Nolen did not want to go on it, but he did. During the trip his face flashed on the screen, and it was the look of fear. He received a certificate of completion at the end of the flight.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh & Snow White's Scary Adventure rides.
We also went on "it's a small world" musical voyage. | Up and Down
Dinning with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the wicked Step-mother & the step Sisters
We dinned at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We took the monorail to our destination. We arrived, just to find out that we had reservations for a different night. Thank goodness there was a second restaurant there and we were able to get in and enjoy our character dinning. When we walked in, we felt out of place in this fancy place. The elevators, were for guest only. Then the fine china we ate off of, made me scared to let the kids walk with it. It was a wonderful experience for us to have.
For the Halloween Party at Disney, we dressed in Packer & Badger Jersey's
 More Magical Moments
Happy Halloween | T | Trick or Treat
Tire of standing in line to get Captain Jack Sparrow's autograph. | Boy has it been a long day!
Grandma wanted the 7 dwarfs autograph so bad, but the line was SOOOO long, we just got a photo instead. | Rocking out to the music with Chip & Dale, Goofy & Stitch,
Now that the parade is over is time to go get some "Goofy" candy. We each received a bag to carry our loot in. We made it to all but one stop. By the time we finished our bags were full. On our plane ride home, we put the candy in our checked bag, and the bag ended up being over the weight limit. We were over by 9lbs 2oz. We took out the candy and a few other small things and we were under our weight. Can't believe we brought home almost 9lbs of candy!
We all walked to Hard Rock Café for lunch and then we spent a little time playing with Lego's. Nolen walked around and around the store trying to pick out a new Lego set. It was one of the busiest stores we went into. We did a little more shopping for photos books, and enjoyed the beautiful day before going back to our room.
We saw so many amazing gardens and displays of different movies every place we went. I really likes the one of the dancing brooms. While we were down town we walked along the water and enjoyed the heat, with a little breeze to cool us off. On our next trip, Epcot is on our list of to dos. We just didn't have enough time too squeeze it in. | Funtastic | More Bug Fun
Now It's Time to Say Goodbye... | Flying Home
