FC: Europe 2011 | Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, England, and Scotland

1: We left San Diego on July 25th at 0930 hours, flew on Delta Airlines to Atlanta and then to Copenhagen, arriving at 1030 hours on July 26th. | Atlanta | Copenhagen | Waiting for the train into town

2: We walked a short distance from the train depot to our hotel. | Taking a quick break while we wait to check into "The Square Hotel" | Hans Christian Anderson's "Little Mermaid" | Time for a nap after the long trip to Denmark | The Round Tower of Copenhagen and The Trinitatis Church

3: Aunt Frida, Kevin and Suzan visit the old neighborhood

4: Copenhagen at Night, right by our room Colorful Buildings Typical Parking Lot (Bicycle)

5: Kevin eating his favorite Danish appetizer. Everyone rides a bicycle. | Royal Danish Porcelain Aunt Frida Eating our hot dogs

6: Rode the train to Roskilde Home of the Viking Museum | Kevin's Cousin Lief and Suzan meet us for a tour of the Viking way of life.

7: An Afternoon spent learning the ways of the Vikings and sailing on the open Roskilde Fjord

49: This was my favorite place in France. It's an old Monastery. Inside the walls are now stores and hotels. Catherine and her parents toured with us on this day. | The ocean tide comes in & out. In the past people have been know to get caught in the tide & some have lost their life. (right) is the side of the building where they used a pull cart to get supplies up and down..

50: This is an American Cemetary for all the service men and women who lost their lives fighting Germany in World War II. | The amount of white crosses was overwhelming, many with no names on them.

52: Sainte Mere Egilse | Paratrooper John Steele landed on the church roof and was captured.

53: German Artillery Bunkers on Utah Beach.

54: Palace of Versailles Closed on Mondays, the day we showed up !

59: The Day we went to Notre Dame there was big crowds of people. The Military Police were all around. The church is absolutely beautiful inside.

60: Arc de Triomphe Famous Monument in Charles de Gaulle Triumphal Arch Honors those who have fought and died in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars

66: Paris was very crowded with people. | The Eiffel Tower was stunning at night !

70: We walked from our room, through a Big Park | There was a Princess Diana Memorial Walk | Then a walk around a big pond | And back through the Big Park
