2: We left London before Midnight on the 18th of April 2012. Almost 7 years to the day that we first arrived. | Look at the view out the window girls! We have just entered the Champagne region! ... 3: Our first Encampment! | A bit of excitement when we first arrived as grass was soft with the sudden rain. Caravan and Camp owners truck got stuck so Dave ended up in a 3-way tow: Car-Truck-Caravan while the girls and I had a cuppa with the neighbours on the pitch nearby! Now we know when to go for hard-standing! | Temperature: 5 - 12 degrees

7: Our 2nd stop was south of Dijon right by the river Salone, which lsemed high againt its banks. A beautiful spot but not wanting to tempt fate with the rain, we move on... | Temperature: 5-12 Degrees

12: SEEKING THE HEAT! | 27-Apr-2012 Frontigan Plage Camping Les Tamaris | We stopped for a picnic lunch en route, so hot took shelter under the pine-trees | Frontignan town square
13: Tonight we have the sound of waves crashing on the beach metres from our caravan - the best sound in the world! The weather has warmed up (hit 28C midday), we are half way through a bottle of Chateau Brown 2004 and have free wi-fi, water hookup and power on our beachfront pitch. Woop-woop! We even have our coffee machine and grinder so cappuccino and fresh crosissant for breakfast....(humming) 6 months in a leaky boat... | View from the sand-dune: Looking Left Looking Right

16: Picnic in a wood ten minutes drive from our camp. Jessica makes friends with a little girl "Lilly" picnicing with her family near-by
