 Radisson Resort & Casino
 Palm Beach
 Hmm.. Palapa or Cabana today?
The famous Divi-Divi tree is a natural compass as it always points in a southwesterly direction due to the tradewinds that blow across the island.

We spent most of the day at the beach soaking up every bit of sunshine as we waited for Hurricane Tomas to hit the Caribbean. Even though Aruba is below the hurricane belt the forecast called for rain and (even more) wind over the next few days:( | The boys had to have their Sunday football fix and they found Buster's- a big sports bar with lots of TVs where they happily watched the Pats beat Favre and the Vikings:) | Next stop.... dinner at Gianni's - known for the famous Flaming Cheese Wheel! | The girls..we snuck in a little retail therapy on our way over to meet them:)

Baby Beach is one of the prettiest beaches in Aruba... No hotels, pristine waters, velvet soft sand, amazing snorkeling, giant puddles and to keep everyone wondering... Do they really feed the sharks over here?
The Big | 50 | We drank cold beers and cocktails and sang to 'Tsunami Pete' who turned... | picture perfect memories scattered all around... | Happy Birthday Pete! | ...in Aruba | Splash Brothers
A couple of times around the block to find this place should have been an indication how the rest of the island exploring would go!
 On top of the world!
What? | California Lighthouse | I realize it doesn't say Peter... but Santa, that puddle was just too damn tempting! | Gamache, right there!
Getting Around The Island... We quickly realized that the only way to really see Aruba was by jeep. The island, only 20 miles long and 6 miles wide is a desert covered with cactus, goats, donkeys and beautiful beaches. It was a lot of fun exploring the island from one end to the other and depending on which side of the island we were on the homes were either beautiful mansions or tiny shacks. We were lost most of the time (probably why we ended up on a Military Shooting Range) but managed to follow the winding and twisted, rugged dirt roads along the north coast searching for the Alto Vista Chapel. The chapel was perched atop a hill overlooking the ocean, it was so tiny, majestic and peaceful. Next time, we'll opt for some organization and maybe a dry map ! | Three Rocks...Three Wishes | Health, Happiness, Love

They say 'it never rains in Aruba' well... it does, but for the ten of us, that didn't dampen our fun. We shared a wonderful week on a charming island with the best of family and friends. We may not remember every moment but we will never forget the memories, those will stay in our hearts ...... | Forever | Susan & Anthony | Michele & Peter | Chris & Manny | Larry & Nikki | Love, Cheryl & Paul | Trip | NOTES
