4: Royal Linderhof Palace of King Ludwig II
5: Linderhoff Castle was King Ludwig's favorite. It was built between the years of 1870-1878, The beautiful fountain is the centerpiece of the garden.
7: Herrenchiemsee Palace and the Fraueninsel Island King Ludwig's Castle is modeled after the Palace of Versailles.
8: Zugspitze Germany's Highest Mountain It separates Germany and Austria. It also has the world's highest beer garden.

10: We took the train to Munich twice during our stay. Of course we visited the Hofbrauhaus for lunch! On our second visit we took a walking tour of the city.
13: Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle King Maximillan II owned Hohenschwangau and his son, King Ludwig II built Neuschwanstein. Hohenschwangau was a working castle. King Ludwig died before Neuschwanstein was completed.

18: Sound of Music Tour in Salzburg. You will recognize these famous scenes form the movie musical. The famous gazebo, the Von Trapp home, Mirabelle Garden, the Do, Re, Mi steps, the wedding church, and trees for children to hang in.
