28: Artistic Wood Products | Ifil Wood Artist Michael Genereux. It is illegal to cut down an Ifil tree so all of Michael's sculptures are created from dead trees. He often pulls the wood from underwater as it is so dense it doesn't float. Found only on a few of the islands in Micronesia, Ifit wood is so hard it is termite resistant and a nail can not be driven into it.
