4: The First Church of Christ Est. 1632 The Third Meeting house which was built on the same location as the fourth and final building is where the U.S. Constitution was Ratified.

6: Ancient Burying Ground | The Oldest Historic Site in Hartford Established about 1640 & the elusive scent of BBQ

7: Lunch at the Old State House Square | Sea Food Express... One Bite and you're hooked. What a place to get Hot dogs One with hot sauce and one with Ranch Dressing But the fries were good.. Not at all fishy

9: After lunch the parking meter was quickly counting down the time so the actual state house was a rush job

10: Connecticut State Capitol

11: The Capitol was completed in 1878 and is located in the Bushnell Park. We had selected this location because of the park but our thirst drove us in search of water. By the time we were finished inside we were both to tired to do the park... Next time!

15: Civil War Flags... The most interesting part of this capitol is that it houses a collection of all the surviving Civil War Flags. they were collected and placed in these Cabinets in 1879

17: Mickie & Dee Spotted at the McDonalds on our way out of town | I am a sucker for "out of place Graves" This one (4) is a road side grave on Lebanon Mountain, near the park where we ate dinner!
