1: Our Itinerary | Day 1 Oahu CLT to DFW DFW to HNL Waikiki Day 2 Oahu Pearl Harbor Driving City Tour of Honolulu Shopping in Waikiki Day 3 Oahu Waikiki Beach Time Anniversary Dinner Day 4 Oahu/Maui HNL to OGG | Day 5 Maui Whale Watching Napili Bay Day 6 Maui Haleakala Sunrise Tour Poolside Relaxation Day 7 Maui Beach Time Royal Lahaina Luau Day 8/9 Maui/Charlotte Drive around Northern half Maui OGG to DFW DFW to CLT

2: We left CLT at 6:15a.m. Arrived in HNL at 3:30p.m. It was a LONG day! | Honolulu, Oahu

3: The first 3 nights we stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. It was right across the street from Waikiki Beach!

4: Punchbowl National Cemetery | Lady Columbia. Represents all grieving mothers.

5: Day 2- Arizona Memorial/City Tour We went and visited Pearl Harbor. Took a shuttle boat out to the Arizona Memorial. Then we had a drive through tour of the Punchbowl National Cemetery and the historical sights of downtown Honolulu including Chinatown, The State Capital, Governors Home, and the Iolani Palace. | Iolani Palace | State Capital

7: USS Battleship Missouri & The Arizona Memorial

10: The "tears of the Arizona". An oil slick is still visible on the water's surface above the sunken wreckage.

11: The decision to have Missouri's bow face the Arizona Memorial was intended to convey that Missouri now watches over the remains of the battleship Arizona so that those interred within Arizona's hull may rest in peace. These measures have helped preserve the individual identities of the Arizona Memorial and the Missouri Memorial,.

19: Day 3- Wakiki Beach & Pool Time! We spent the day relaxing on Wakiki beach and spent a little time at the pool too! In the evening we had a special dinner to celebrate our 15th Anniversary, at the Hulu Grill.

21: Happy 15th Anniversary! We had a very delicious dinner on the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset!

24: Let the Journey Begin

25: Day 4- We left the Island of Oahu and flew to the Island of Maui. We rented a convertible to enjoy some sites around the island.

26: Westin Maui Resort Lahaina, Maui Our room and the beautiful views from the balcony.

29: Day 5 - Spirit of Lahaina Whale Watch in Lahaina. We went on a two hour cruise to observe the whales. We saw quite a few surface but didn't get to see any of them breach the water.

31: A really old and huge Banyan Tree in Lahaina

32: After our Whale watch we went for a drive up the coast a little. We found a nice little beach at Napili Bay.

35: Day 6 - Haleakala Sunrise Tour We had to get up at 2:00A.M. to board a bus for a ride to see the sunrise over the Haleakala Crater. We went up over 10,000 ft above sea level. We had the WORST weather! Cold, rainy and couldn't see a thing! By the time we got down the mountain the weather had cleared up! Just our luck! Went back to the hotel and just relaxed poolside the rest of the day!


38: SUN | F U N I N T H E | Day 7 - Being since we didn't have anything planned for the day we decided to have a relaxing day on the beach. We rented a chair and umbrella on the beach, we enjoyed the ocean waves and sun for our last full day!

41: BREEZE | O C E A N

47: Day 7 - After a relaxing day on the beach, we headed to the Royal Lahaina Luau on Kaanapali Beach. It was a traditional island feast on the ocean. They did an Imu Ceremony and a spectacular Polynesian Revue.

52: Day 8 - Time to leave this beautiful Island! We didn't fly out until late, so we decide to take the scenic route to the airport. We drove around the northern half of Maui, along the coast.


57: This is Nakalele Point and Blowhole. | Windy!!

59: It was a very narrow road with a sheer cliff at times and no guard rails! At one point only one car would fit on the road. It made us very nervous at times. | We made it around the island to the airport in time. We flew out at 6:00 p.m. and arrived in Dallas at 5:05 a.m. Can't wait to go back!!
